Really? - I just can't understand exactly what is the problem?

Thanks everyone for feeling sorry for us europeans ;) Does anybody have any idea why it takes another 3 damn months?

That's nice. I was very close to throw my money to this release, so now Konami just saved me.

Shouldn't matter for PS3 users who can get their hands on a US copy. If you are an EU XBOX user however, weelll...... Hehe, let's just say it's a good day to have a PS3 :).

This is ridiculous. The game is going to be pirated for sure. How can there suddenly be a THREE MONTH delay? Someone at Konami doesn't give a crap about the European gamers.

can the ntsc version at least be region free? :p coz i can get both :D

Well, I guess I'll be also be importing the NA version. There won't be any DLC, I wouldn't think, so there's no reason not to. I can't wait!

@goodemon true, they did make a game cube version (which was awesome) Maybe they have a re-work in the makes. Im sure it will happen soon though, just look at all the HD remakes thats going on (ICO, MGS, Z.O.E, Resi 4 to name a few) wouldnt mind a gta: SA remake, that would be amazing

I heard that the Silent Hill Downpour game was pushed into 2012..

@uncagedpaul_86 Dude they already made an HD version of MGS1 on the GameCube it was Metal Gear Twin Snakes, it even supported progressive scan, why not just port that version into this one and give the fans a real trilogy...unless Silicon Knights helped developed the game, so maybe they would want to be paid royalties..

For people wondering why they havent put the original MGS1 on here, think of it this way. They havent needed to change much (if anything) to mgs2 and mgs3, all they have done is rendered it in HD. Now, if you did that to MGS1 as it is, it would look horrible! They would have to start from scratch to make a HD MGS! which could take years, if it was so easy then they would of done that with final fantasy 7 a long time ago (i hope they do though)

Looks like I'll be scratching this one off the list....

@uncagedpaul_86 True but...languages take time for Europe, Italian, French, German, Spanish etc...etc...usually the reason why a game is delayed. Some games have about 12 different languages inside.

nothing like delaying a game by a few months in one region to get people to pirate your game. good job konami!

nooooo! I dont get this. Surely the UK version and the US versions are the same, localization wise? An explanation for the delay would have been nice, but I can wait for these epic games.

@thribs Nah, you would see a general delay in tons of games if that were the case. (Also, they condoned 50% of Greece's debt yesterday)

Konami does not learn... still months of difference like 10 years ago?. I see a ton of PS3 imports from Canada coming (like we did with Catherine) for us poor Europeans, don't be surprised Konami if you game only sales in 360 here.

While it is annoying that has been delayed. I will give your four reasons why that's a good thing for me. 1. Uncharted 3 2. Kirby Wii 3. Zelda Skyward Sword 4. Super Mario 3D Land. But if I do want the Metal Gear Collection NOW, I can always import from the USA since my PS3 by default is region free.
