Ill only get PS4 if at luanch they have games like little big planet, the original mascot Crash Bandicoot game, or a new megaman game. other than that PC works for me
New game project on Media Molecule website links to Toyah Willcox's It's a Mystery video.
LittleBigPlanet developers Media Molecule has teased an upcoming product ahead of Sony's PlayStation Meeting on February 20, when the company is widely believed to be unveiling the PlayStation 4.
The Media Molecule website has added a new project ("?") to its games page alongside upcoming PS Vita exclusive Tearaway, which was announced at Sony's gamescom 2012 press conference. The only contents of the page is a link to a YouTube video containing Toyah Willcox's 1981 hit It's a Mystery.
Last week it was rumoured that Media Molecule had handed the reigns to LittleBigPlanet 3 to fellow UK developer Sumo Digital, who most recently handled Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The team previously worked on LittleBigPlanet's cross-controller DLC for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
Over the weekend MotorStorm RC director Paul Rustchynsky tweeted his own countdown to the event.
The PlayStation Meeting will take place in New York on February 20 at 18:00 EST/15:00 PST/23:00 GMT and will be livestreamed. GameSpot will be in attendance.

What I would like to see for the PS4 is another sequel, or prequel, for Infamous! I can't believe that they would just scrap a great character like Cole McGrath.
Can someone tell me why Sony keeps coming out with different slims, colors for the PS3???!!
espcially if they are about to announce Something Big! Maybe the PS4?
I hope that the Ps3 still gets that special treatment regardless of PS4 coming out so sudden because im satisfied with my PS3 and the games that are coming out.
@Dice2119 I totally agree with you. I feel like the PS3 wasn't used to it's full potential just yet, like the PS2 was.
@Dice2119 It's just to prolong the console like they did for the PS2, they've made this new slim model more cost effective and offering it in a variety of colors makes it more appealing.
How to make the PS4 sell huge. Launch holiday season. Have a game line up of about 20 games at launch. At least have AAA title a month come out over the next year after that till about August *2014* when everyone releases their barrage of games for the holiday season. Thus resulting in a none dry spot where nothing gets released for like a year. Instead of making everyone wait for games.
Yea I know this actually works with any system but it wont matter because instead they launch with a ton of games.... then the games stop being released for like 6 months..... Happens every launch for every system....
@RPG_Fan_I_Am "AAA title a month"? That would be nice for any console that launched. But it ain't going to happen, for the Next Xbox or PS4.
@RPG_Fan_I_Am It's not always easy. Lot's of developers are always wary about selling their games on new consoles because the install base starts out so small. I'll imagine the next PS and Xbox will stumble at least a little bit.
If Sony focuses on AI, Physics, new ideas, and IP games I will be happy and not wait a few years like I did this time around. Though I have a huge list of games to get through. Still I am not holding my breath as the chips and tech do not seem that impressive for any console or PC company.
WE are STILL playing the same game with better graphics. ALL these games could have come out on Xbox PS2 but look just not look as good or have less people on screen at once THAT IS all that is new.
I would rather Sony wait till 2015 and have a huge leap in processing power even at a higher price. IF the games were a true generation gap like playing a PS3 in 2002 instead of PS2 then at least we could say its next gen.( though I would still have wanted better AI and physics than better graphics)
mine runs smoothly, the only problem i have is with searches pulling up relevant material. type in your favorite band and you get a bunch of covers and remixes. but if you subscribe to a bunch of vevo channels you can make your own personal mtv with the same one commercial!
I've been wondering what Sony's Sucker Punch, Sony's Guerilla Games, and Sony's Media Molecule have been working on. Glad to see these AAA rated metascoring developers (MM) are ready to show us something finally. Now that leaves Guerrilla and Sucker Punch...We know what Sony's Santa Monica (GOW) and Sony's Naughty Dog (the last of us) have been working on.
@PlatinumPaladin There are comments that make sense and then, there are comments that seem to be uselessly overreacting on just about everything. You are the later.
Can't wait to see what the PS4 is capable of, give me streaming ps3/ps2/ps0ne games on the console AND on a VITA...and it'd be amazing.
@JMaster69 The price of games won't go up, but they're going to pack them with microtransactions and DLC's to try and gouge out every last cent they can get from you. Extra playable characters, costumes, bonus maps, etc. at a premium is going to become the new norm.
well if that image represents next gen, we are in trouble. Flat textures? Seriously?
how about render the wool.
@6orange6 Considering that image in almost 5 years old I think it looks just fine.
@6orange6 It's just a picture from little big planet on ps3 that gamespot pulled from somewhere. Media molecule hasn't released any images or anything on the new game yet. Don't even know if it's gonna be a little big planet. I'm sure it'll look good though.
Anouncement of a Playstation 4 launch title? Little big Planet 3 would be a start. It is important to get some games ready too. Hopefully a few may be announced alongside PS4. Feb 20th.
Exciting stuff! Heard the cross-controller DLC for LBP2 was excellent, can't wait to see what's in store for LittleBigPlanet. Have yet to pick up LBP Karting, but not a priority. However, I'd rather Media Molecule focus on new properties for the PS4.
