Multiplayer map pack for EA's shooter based on Sony's new film available today through Origin; coming to Xbox 360, PS3 tomorrow.
The Zero Dark Thirty map pack for Medal of Honor: Warfighter is now available for PC gamers through Origin, Electronic Arts announced today. The content is based on Sony Picture's film Zero Dark Thirty, which follows the hunt for Osama bin Laden and hits theaters this week.
The Zero Dark Thirty map pack will be available tomorrow, December 18 on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. EA will donate $1 from each map pack sold through March 19, 2014 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation as part of its Project Honor initiative.
The multiplayer map pack includes two new multiplayer maps set in real-world locations, the first of which takes place in Pakistan's Darra Gun Market, an illegal arms marketplace. The second map is set in Pakistan's far north Chitral region, where Bin Laden was believed to be residing for a period.
The Zero Dark Thirty expansion also adds six new weapon configurations, 14 camouflage skins, and 10 additional multiplayer ranks. It is available as a free download for those who picked up the Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition and can be purchased separately for $10.

This game shipped broken, the mic's didn't work with your team, there is no destruction what so ever online, played it and tried to so hard to give it a chance, but the patch came extremely late and they just took their time. Disappointing, and it would be a shame to waste hard drive space on this DLC.
you know what? i enjoyed this game both the multilayer and the campaign say what u will, i had a good time and i think ill put some more time into it for this map pack
I'm not excited about this news because I am too focused on games that aren't garbage. And I am not sorry about it. At all.

I'm thinking that this game would of made more money if it had included this DLC in the game when new instead of trying to profit from a DLC game. How mutch of this DLC are they really expecting to sell ? The game barely sold and the few people that bought it don't play it enough to warrant a DLC purchase in this DLC overcrowded market.

The whole 0dark30 thing is sickening to watch, trying to cement a fable as historical fact through movies and games is something Stalin would be proud of. The whole Pentagon-Hollywood propaganda cooperation just went from disgusting to frightening. It just shows how rotten US has become, descending right into fascism.

I enjoyed the campaigne somewhat but the multiplayer is totally undesirable. The map designs are terrible. I have BF3 and have no need to play this game. Even tho it only costed me $20, it still felt like a waiste of money and im usually not so critical of games.
Don't care about the game, don't care about the DLC, but I can't fucking wait for this movie. Reviews are coming in saying its fantastic so I'm really hoping its going to live up to the hype. (Crosses fingers)
Is this the film "Zero Dark Thirty", its fuckin brilliant, its from Katheryn Bigelow who directed the amazing "Hurt Locker".
1 Like @PeterDuck I am playing it, I got it as a gift and it is not that bad, it is certainly not the best (BF3 which I also own is the best). Still the SP has been fun to play so far and the MP has one thing that I really like, the fire teams. It is a shame that the VOIP doesn't work. I hope they fix this soon, because going fire team with a friend is really funny, even if the maps are not that good.
1 Like EA's return to trash publisher was recently complete thanks to the removal from the NASDAQ-100. This is pitiful on EA's part, releasing gimped Medal of Honor and crappy new maps from their trash MoH entry now.
Shame on EA, 5 years ago they had standards. EA execs clearly need turnover again, this trash they put out these days are no longer worth a sale.
2 Like I just wanted to come in here so I can comment that MoH: Warfighter is one of the biggest piece of shit games I have ever played. DLC is to Warfighter as Corn is to Feces.
@CUDGEdave In that you are sooo right. I prefer the MOH titles for the PC. I still own them and play from time to time. Allied Assault was my favorite shooter until I got BF3.

4 Like So yeah let's take this scenario which should be a singleplayer level and turn it into multiplayer maps, totally makes sense. Now you can knife your opponents in a nondescript concrete building in the Middle East which looks indistinguishable from most of the buildings you'd see in the usual multiplayer maps except this one had Bin Laden in it, ooooooohhhh.

Can't see many people picking this up for $10, most people who bought this game probably got the "limited" edition to get into the Battlefield 4-beta, and thus will get it for free...so, not much proft for EA here.
I remember when MOH was the only WWII shooter around, top of the world. Then Activision plunked EA MOH talent to create COD. Now, MOH just doesn't appeal to me anymore. Then again, neither does MOH.
Eddie, you have not caught on to this yet man? They always out out a release right about now, stating the DLC is available.. only its basically just the EUR timezone kicking in. In case you did not know, this is a DICE thing.. been doing it for about a year or more now.
Yeah, you know, it's always a *great* idea to make some multiplayer focused DLC for a game that got bad reviews because of, you know it... it's multiplayer. *sigh*
