Matrix Online beta nears
Warner Bros. readies persistent world for persistent gamers, beta sign-up open for business.
Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today relaunched The Matrix Online Web site and started soliciting gamers to sign up for the closed beta test for the upcoming online game.
Developed by Tron 2.0 developer Monolith Productions, the game continues the storyline that ended with the final installment of the Matrix movie trilogy.
The publisher is asking beta testers to "assist the developers in testing server loads and gameplay features in addition to being able to provide overall feedback directly to the developers."
Interested gamers can obtain more information at the beta's sign-up page on the game's revamped Web site.
