Mass Effect: Paragon Lost teaser released

Krogans look like crap.

If this means that Mass Effect is getting a cell shade makeover this might actually be the redemption of the franchise, since it is a bit more reprehensible to make anything inappropriate in the way of content in what ends up being a cartoon...not even talking about anime, for just all those reasons... 

Why does everything have to anime? I'm honestly pretty tired of it.

I liked it no complaints... I've seen things like Animatrix and it's right up there. who cares about frigging 1 frame per sec ppl yeesh

Animation quality is very poor, lacks fluidity and art style is rubbish, which shows a generally poor budget for this movie. Hope the storyline makes up for it. 

Speaking as someone who actually does invest a lot of time in anime, the art style (as well as dialogue) here is a fairly poor representation of it. Don't judge anime based on a shallow nonsensical adaptation from BioWare. That's like judging all American movies as bad because you saw the Dragonball Evolution live action film.

I really don't like the look of this. I like anime as much as the next guy, but if ever a game series didn't need an anime remake, it was Mass Effect. The least they could have done was go the route of DA: Dawn of the Seeker. That has a much better look than this.

Mixed feelings. Anime really isnt my thing but I can still appreciate the subject matter. I really cant help but cringe at all the back flips and dual wielding though. I know there is a certain level of over the top action that inherently comes with an anime production, but this is an established universe. Over the past 5 years we've become familiar with how the characters in the universe move and behave. To see the alliance military suddenly populated by Olympic gymnasts is a rough transition and cant help but break the immersion for me.

It's good to choose Vega for this anime.  He's one of the only characters that can die at the end and no one will feel the need to complain.  See ya, buttface!

Hope it's good. As long as it has Quarians I'll be happy with it.

Okay, I had no expectations for this one before this sneak peek.

Now I'm definitely interested.

a movie with a completely unfitting artstyle about a completely unfitting character. yup, sounds like biowares new style. whats with them making anime movies of very western style games? because halo did it? because you continually fail to understand how to appeal to the hardcore fanbase? because the anime style is generally used specifically because it is cheap and quick? what world is this where the last option is the most dignified?

but why Vega? sorry, harbor a slight dislike for the character so forgive the contempt. I'll still watch...but why vega...

What can I say? Not bad, but it's hard to judge the whole movie by nine-minute fragment.

And I would like to hear the soundtracks from the games. Anime's music is tasteless.

LOOKS LIKE TOTAL CRAP! They could have made a better movie if they used the in game engine. The style just looks god awful.

Looks good. I still never finished watching Halo Legends. I never really got into the whole anime craze/had time to watch it

Sweet. An animated movie about my least favorite character in the series. Can't wait.

It doesn't look too bad actually. I like the animation style. There's not much about Vega that makes me think it is Vega apart from his name but I'll try to overlook that. Not sure what's with the tiny headed Krogan mind you. I'll pick this up if I find it cheap.

The animations should have been like Final fantasy or atleast like naruto.

They are fighting Krogans in this video.So must be based on the Krogan rebellions,atleast one part of the movie.

its actually not bad -i saw the movie already at anime weekend atlanta.  It actually develops vega a bit makes him less of a meat head.  Overall i think the movie was ok.  Plus even though you know whats going to happen it exciting to watch.

A story about one of the least interesting characters in your party. Great! I'm so intersted in this(being ironic) Do you hear that hum? Is that just me?

As picky as I am about anime (I only have two I find watchable) I do wish they went for more of a Dead Space.... whatever it was called approach. It was still anime but at least they moved and acted like real humans would in the situation, non of this spinning, jump kick, nonsense.
