Mass Effect: Paragon Lost teaser released
Animated prequel to Mass Effect 3 gets nine-minute sneak peek; due on DVD and Blu-ray December 28.
Though the Mass Effect full-length movie may been headed back to the drawing board with a new writer, upcoming prequel Mass Effect: Paragon Lost is due out in just two months. A new trailer (below) for the animated movie has been released, giving fans a nine-minute look into the new fiction.
Paragon Lost is a prequel to Mass Effect 3. It focuses on the pursuits of alliance marine James Vega, who is voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr. (Scooby Doo, She's All That). Vega is in charge of a Special Forces squad tasked with battling an alien threat known as The Collectors.
Paragon Lost is due on DVD and Blu-ray on December 28. It was developed from a collaboration between series creator BioWare, production company Funimation, and Japanese anime studio Production I.G.
