He really did have a distinct voice, didn't he? I thought all the voice work was quite good, but his voice work was SPOT ON for who he was playing.
Mass Effect, Dragon Age voice actor dead
Robin Sachs, voice of Zaeed Massani and Lord Pyral Harrowmont, passes away at 61.
Mass Effect and Dragon Age voice actor Robin Sachs has died. The actor was perhaps best known in gaming for his role as Zaeed Massani in the Mass Effect series and Lord Pyral Harrowmont in Dragon Age: Origins.
Sachs also played Admiral Saul Karath in Knights of the Old Republic, in addition to numerous other roles in games, film, and television. He was 61.
"Our thoughts are with Robin's family and friends during this difficult time, and we thank him for bringing Zaeed to life in the way that only Robin could," BioWare said in a statement.
No cause of death was mentioned, though a post on Sachs' website described his passing as "sudden and unexpected."
Outside of gaming, Sachs played roles in Galaxy Quest, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ocean's 11, and The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
