Good for them. I wonder how much I would have loved ME3 if I had never seen that original ending.
Mass Effect 3 Wii U includes Extended Cut DLC
BioWare reveals RPG's debut on Nintendo's new console will bundle endgame content; single-player DLC focusing on Shepard in the works.
When Mass Effect 3 arrives for the Wii U, it will come with the fan-requested Extended Cut downloadable content already on the disc, BioWare producer Michael Gamble told Siliconera.
"The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead," Gamble said. "You won’t have to download it."
The Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut is a free piece of content that arrived for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC last month after gamers vocally expressed their disinterest in the original endings. The content aims to address fans' concerns regarding the Mass Effect 3 endgame by providing "greater context," but no new endings.
In other Mass Effect 3 news, Gamble told Joystiq that BioWare is preparing new single-player DLC for the game, and this content will more than likely center on Commander Shepard.
"We want to do single-player DLC," he said. "Mass Effect 3 is Shepard's story, so the single-player DLC for Mass Effect 3 will probably focus around Shepard."
