Marvel VS Capcom 3: Arcade edtion! I know that gotta be it!

There better be new characters to beat arcade mode with... The Punisher and Blade making an appearance would be the best! Capcom has everyone in their catalog that matters, so Marvel should just add their more awesome characters to the game...

Hopefully this means more downloadable fighters and maybe even new modes to play. So far I'm liking MK 9 better...

A story mode would be nice.

one other thing they really should put a option to fight against CPU other than the story mode

they should make a new game and give the option of adding the new features by DLC for those that already have the game

capcom - so there was this thing with the programming, and it does not allow us to expand the game via DLC, we have to release a new game all together, but there will be a bonus for those who already purchased the game, they will be able to change the hair color of each character to white! because we love out fans ^_^! not gona get me this time @$$ holes!!!

HAHAHA!! People expect this to be DLC! No. If anything new does get released, be prepared to pay another full $60 for it and have the current game you've already paid for become outdated and useless.

Agreed. Capcom's current 'pay per character' downloadable content business model is difficult to digest considering the previous Marvel vs. Capcom offering included 56 playable in-game characters.

Be nice to have more characters for DLC and cheaper.

A true story mode would be nice.

This game, even from the first- in the arcade, never lived up to expectations. I doubt it will ever become a good game... Just like DBZ.

I can't say I was ever impressed by the roster in this game...

Yeah, new MvC3 news is great and all, but I'm a little more intrigued by the "other Marvel games" part. Back in the SNES and Genesis days, Capcom put out some pretty interesting Marvel properties like The Punisher, all those X-Men and Marvel fighters, and the X-Men brawlers. I would LOVE to see a return to good comic book games... nothing like this gen's flops that Sega keeps pumping out.

I read a story where someone found code for Doc Oc and Frank West. Will they follow through maybe?

Should add Venom and/or Carnage would love to see them in MvsC3 graphics and Gambit back for marvel

Marvel vs Capcom 3, for such a big title should have far more character variety.... like MvC 2.... dontcha think?

Doc Ock and Frank Wes, or will it be the "Super" version others have already commented about? @ lamprey263 They didn't have to/couldn't do this (extra editions) with MVC2, back then you either released a full game or at least waited more than a year to release an upgrade.

I've learned my lesson thanks in part to Super Street Fighter IV. I bought Street Fighter when it was released and months later they announced the Super version. So now I'll just wait for the definitive version of MvC 3 along with SFvTekken.

Highly doubt anything of value will come of it.MVC3 was a let down.Got bored with it quick.Just not enough characters to keep me entertained.Plus so many foundation characters that fans loved and PLEADED for were ignored.

Honestly, I'd be perfectly fine with a "Super" version of MvC3. That is of course assuming owners of the original game could download the new features at a discounted rate (e.g. the Arcade Edition of SSF4)

Enjoyed the game enough and am interested to see what info they'll release...provided the new content doesn't come in the form of 100Kb downloads again...

Better be about the Fantastic 4, Megaman X/Classic, Dr. Strange, Carnage, Venom, Blade, and/or Black Panther.

Watch them screw people who already MVC3...And say a super version is coming out for 40$...

haven't picked this game up yet, maybe I should just wait until MvC3 Hyper Alpha Gold Edition Turbo to come out several years later, honestly I thought they'd ignore this kind of strategy with MvC3 since they're already busy milking SF4 and they didn't bother doing this with MvC2

I think I speak for all of the MvC3 community when I say, "Stop giving us stuff we won't pay for (Shadow Battles) & give us some new characters, costumes, stages, anything to alter the appearance of the game!"

I'm glad, it looks like a pretty empty experience compared to MVC 2, which can be bought for a fraction of the price MVC 3 costed at launch.
