YES!!!! this is the only fighting game I have ever been able to actually play with any skill. this is a great port, and the fact that you wont have to pay 100 bucks for the PS2 version only makes it sweeter. I am gonna be online kicking butts in HD on launch day.

By far the best fighting game in history :D Why are many people complaining about this not being an HD remix? What is there to remix exactly? The animations are fluid and the game runs at 60 fps. However, an MvC3 would be great for the future.

Buying this the day it comes out. I rented it for the PS2 back in 05 or 06 and I've wanted to play it again ever since. Had a chance to buy it for $60 used a few years later but didn't and regretted it since it has climbed another $20 since then. For once I will feel no guilt paying 15 bucks for an XBLA game.

I read on the marvel website that it will support widescreen and 1080p but i dont know how far that info can be trusted.

Well, this is a title I've been milking for 9 years of value on the arcades. It's awesome. Though, why couldn't they have a NEW MvsC? They could have had like, a 100 characters!!! Oh well. Better head back to the arcade :( At least online would be cool.

wow, just finished playing the demo. Heres what happened, I played it for 3 mins, u get 6 characters! then i ended up inserting the mvc2 ps2 disc and let me tell you, minimal graphical upgrades. . . This release is definitely more geared to people who don't already have the original game, or hardcore online players. In this sense I am a little disappointed but at the same time unaffected by this release. perhaps capcom will eventually come out with mvc3 for the next gen consoles, if they could get their hands ahold on a license.

Wish they sold this on a cd. I highly dislike downloading from that damn marketplace.

@Everyone: I have this mvc2 on ps2 and in the control options you can set R1 and R2 as fierce punch and kick respectively and you only have to press one to do a super combo, as opposed to pressing square and triangle or x or cirlce. I can't get that to work in the demo, does anyone know how? Man i hope you can do that in the final version...

Sigh, looks like they've given it the old "smear the stretched pixels" treatment (If the screenshot is anything to go by). Did they at least reprogram the game to run in a native widescreen fov?

Just tried playing a few rounds, kinda wished Capcom did give it the HD remix. But overall still fun to play.

Being one of the few that has never played MVC2, it SEEMS to be a pretty cool game, but some schmuck of infinite wisdom thought it was a good idea to release a demo sans the single player experience. Nice way to introduce the series to newcomers, Capcom. Very nice indeed.

Oh yeah this is great, only local multiplayer on the demo... what is up with Capcom and demos, didn't the same thing "happend" with SF 2 Turbo HD? :(

I'd prefer a HD remix version. Played the demo. Umm who's idea was it to only have local two player in this? Seriously. Other then that its still fun. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 maybe?

CAPCOM ARE ****IN A**ES! How could they put a demo out with ONLY LOCAL 2 PLAYER?! If you don't have a second controller don't bother downloading the demo from PSN

This game is bigger than 150MB though... Will MS make an exception for it? If MS has to keep making exceptions, why not just drop the 150MB limit altogether?

Jeez, just let the PS3 owners enjoy SOME kind of interesting exclusive for once. ***************************************************** Don't really care which system the demo comes out on, as I own both the PS3 & the XBox 360. I also own the original full version on XBox and Dreamcast. So having the demo come out on the PS3 first isn't really a big deal. If this was a new IP likeDC Comic -vs- Capcom, then it would be a big deal. lol

Finally. i won't have to pay $80.00 for a used ps2 copy at Gamestop, plus this one will play online.Thank you Capcom, now if we could only get the arcade 4 player x-men game.....we can always dream.

Henninger, guess it doesn't really matter which system you buy it for.. But PS3 will get the demo first so you might want to consider what else they might be getting.
