Madden NFL 2004 ships

EA announces the North American release of all six versions of its latest football game.

Electronic Arts has today announced the North American release of Madden NFL 2004 on the PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation, and Game Boy Advance. The game marks the 14th season for EA Sports' football franchise and features commentary not only from John Madden but also from Al Michaels and Melissa Stark.

New features in Madden NFL this season include revolutionary playmaker control that lets gamers adjust on the fly just as NFL players do, updated playbooks, new gameplay camera angles, and a deeper franchise mode with a new owner mode option that allows players to take on additional responsibilities, such as hiring coaching staff and setting ticket prices.
