Looney Tunes: Back in Action ships
EA announces that the PS2 and GBA versions of its Warner Bros. movie-inspired adventure game are now available in stores.
Electronic Arts has today announced the North American release of Looney Tunes: Back in Action for the PlayStation 2 and the Game Boy Advance. EA is copublishing the game, which was developed by Warthog. The game will additionally be released for the GameCube next week by Warner Bros. Interactive.
Looney Tunes: Back in Action is a third-person adventure game inspired by the movie of the same name. In the game, players will assume the roles of both Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny as they use their special skills to search for the mythical Blue Monkey Diamond in order to put an end to the sinister plans of the evil ACME Corporation. The game features five different movie-inspired environments, including the jungles of Africa, the Warner Bros. Studios lot, and Roswell's Area 51.
