My first RPG! I had a Tandy computer and no gray hair. I look forward to the release for my IPad. The original was funny and entertaining. Woo Hoo!

So cool that Larry is back lol.. the first game was great it was a double sense type of game all jokes lead to pervert thoughts but in itself the game was not pornographic as all sequence had censorship some say there was a code to remove them .. but overrall the game was entertaining trying to make larry score.. and yes it was an adults game cause most of the answers require adult context yet most answers were trial and error till you get what you were after. Never like the follow up games till version 6 which was fun the crap you had to do on the boat... lol fav phrase "tickle your ....  particularly nasty weather" :P

I look forward to the remake, the humor was great back in 199?, but might seem a bit dated by todays standards. Let's not forget it's an adventure game not pornography, the whole point was that despite all his efforts Larry never actually got his legover. Any way I wish them success. If it goes well can we expect to see the other Sierra classics get the same treatment?

Leisure-Suit Larry and Prince of Persia was the first PC games i've ever played, i was 9 years old.

I notice alot of people here are not getting this. Al Lowe"s Leisure suit larry made in 1987-1997 was not the garbage made in the 2000! Even Al Lowe hated those games! This game is not "Cinemax porn in a game." Larry Laffer is a graphical adventure game about a"Lovable Loser" who is trying to find the "right woman" but at the age of 40 is still a virgin so decided to quit his job and sell his car to spend a night in "Lost Wages." Yeah at first he is just trying to get some but afterwards decides he needs the "right one." So a game about about a aging 70s loving loser hitting on hot women? You don't see the humor in that? Yeah the 1987 original had aged jokes, because it was made for a adult 1987 fanbase! The last two "games" were about Larry Lovage who was Larry Laffer's uninteresting nephew and that game was more "Frat boy, Cinemax, fart jokes" mixed with lame mini-games and bad controls. So if you think this is just porn or like the xbox's games your wrong. So so wrong.

when are they going to make this game for the 360 cause that would be awsome.

Why is it they must make Larry look like a buffoon. he should look like Brad Pitt or something

So Stalker II gets cancelled....but somewhere out there someone thought it would be a great idea to invest 500,000 dollars on a Lesuire Suit Larry Remake.....Obvious Virgin.

As long as it's as good as LSL 7: Love For Sail then I'll buy it. The end of that game had Larry's cruise ship being abducted by a spaceship..and we never got that sequel! So do that next Mr. Lowe and include many references to Spacequest :)

Leisure Suit Larry games were creative and funny. Sierra never let us down. I hope this game takes it's model from the past, and doesn't try to re-invent LSL with 3D graphics.

Wish they would do this for Police Quest, my favorite Sierra adventure game.

This game has to be funny or i wont care. Theres enough free porn and free boobs on the internet now to last a bizillion life times in todays world. So leisure Suit Larry better hire someone really funny to write the script.

If this is going to be a straight remake, i don't really feel like playing it again. It better have something new to offer, besides shinies.

Why couldn't they remake Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail ? That was the only one I enjoyed playing. The series sank after that one.

Either Sega or the people who made Streets of Rage Remake should start a Kickstarter for an old school sprite based Streets of Rage style console beat-em up with online play. That and Capcom doing one to port Rival Schools to XBLA/PSN with online play are ones I'd support.

@ shanethewolf Last two times it was "brought back" was without the original crew's writing and jokes. They focused more on the bawdiness and not the toilet humor too IMHO. The latest...something about Showbiz was tamed down for Walmart sales so even the bawdiness was gone. (and the gameplay was TERRIBLE.) Those had all the taste and poor writing of a bad Cinemax late-night (if you know the slang word then use it.) Those two games felt like less of games and more of a soft-core joke then. Going back to the original is a small development for those of us who laughed at the original sheer pathetic nature of Larry (and the original Larry is one humorously sad sack of far too much hair gel...oh gawd I hope it's hair gel.)

Why would anyone fund this crap? The only game I would fund is the remake of XCOM. Not the FPS.

Hopefully it will go back to what made the originals so fun and great.Let's hope we don't see a following of what was done to LL on the last gen consoles.

First of all, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's cancellation ins't related to LSL... Secondly, GREAT NEWS......now I'm willing to see more of LSL in the coming years...but better than the recent ones, and less different than the old ones...and well with better graphics quality and btw, have u guys actually seen the kickstarter's page for LSL? someone pledged 10K$ or more for this!!! Now he's the fan, and thumbs up for him coz he gets his hands on those damn artworks and ...!! And no, i'm not a perve here, just a BIG FAN!!!

If this flop all that money was made for nothing and if you want game like this keep. keep cheap but no. The money could done better with something else.

I always liked that the games made you answer obscure trivia questions as an age check. As if kids were not smart enough to get around that.

Of all the classic adventure games they could resurrect, why this one? It's already been brought back many times before and flopped. I'd much rather see Day of the Tentacle, Police Quest, Gabriel Knight, Lure of the Temptress...the list goes on.

I see this, and the headline below it is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 canceled. Sad days.

Al Lowe's ability to obtain funding for projects is second only to Uwe Boll.
