Legends of Wrestling II shipping
Acclaim's game featuring 65 classic pro wrestling stars is now available for the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and GBA.
Acclaim has announced that Legends of Wrestling II is now shipping for current consoles and the Game Boy Advance. The game follows up last year's Legends of Wrestling, and the sequel features a total of 65 pro wrestlers from an earlier era, including the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, and Rowdy Roddy Piper. The game has a career mode and has a variety of match types, including cage matches, 6- and 8-man elimination bouts, and battle royal matches.
"Featuring the biggest names in the business, incredible next-generation graphics and gameplay, as well as countless hours of body-slamming action, Legends of Wrestling II is the game that wrestling fans have been waiting for, said Evan Stein, Acclaim's vice president of brand marketing.
Legends of Wrestling II has some DVD bonus footage for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions, with interviews with a number of the wrestling legends themselves.
