Kingdom Hearts tips scales at 4 million
Multimillion milestone noted for unique cobranded game.
Disney Interactive (the publishing arm of teamed Buena Vista Games and Square Enix) announced that Kingdom Hearts has shipped 4 million units worldwide. The PS2 title, released in September 2002, has sold more than 2 million units in North America, 1.2 million units in Japan, and 820,000 units in Europe. A value-priced edition of the game is currently available and retails for $19.99.
