King of Fighters XIII preorders get 4-disc soundtrack set

@XanderZane You are quite right Weapons Lord was also a great game...would like a download version as well. If you have a PS3 try out "Dark Awake: the king has no name" on PSN Japan. You have to create a Japanese PSN Account if you are in the states and navigate thru some crazy menus (because I can't read Japanese) but the game is quite fun. Think of it as King of Fighters or Marvel vs Capcom with wizzards and warriors. It is a old title only released in Japan but it will work no problem on a U.S. PS3. Also you will have to go to Play-Asia.com to buy a 1,000 Yen PSN Card Digital (which costs about $16) however that is the same cost as the game. Play Asia emails you the code which you redeem on your J PSN account then buy, download, install and enjoy.

Past games in this series are better than the current iteration. IMO this game was best played in the arcades but unfortunately they are all but gone. Oh wait you can get an arcade stick ...nevermind.

Actually this will be Atlus second time in publishing a KOF game since The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood for Game Boy Advance; however, it will be their first time in publishing a main KOF game rather than a side-story.

@XanderZane Buddy there was already Darkstalkers 3 about thirteen years ago and it was a great game that I am still playing today. Regardless of you missing out on that game I would rather have Golden Axe the Duel 2 or Eternal Champions 3 then Killer Instict 2 anyday but my opinion is probably wrong. Looks like an amazing game this time around and they've learned from their mistakes from KOF XII, hopefully the roster is larger and more arenas are available.

And I forgot to tell loved this game in childhood, have played every single KOF till maximum impact since 1994 version. My first one was 97, oh and I kicked some a** in arcades brings back the old memories :)

After maximum Impact, never bothered with series again. Played KOF XII at friends house and it was terrible. do not have high hope but I love fighting games wish they revive it too as Street Fighter. would love one more awesome fighting game

4 Disc soundtrack? Who the hell needs that? I haven't played KoF for about 7-8 yrs now. I still don't care for the animation, which looks stiff sometimes. I doubt I'll be pre-ordering this, but I may pick it up after the price drops some. I'd rather have a Darkstalkers 3 or Killer Instinct 3 at this point.

No preorder bonus can compete with getting a free authentic Terry Bogard Fatal Fury Hat with Maximum Impact but this soundtrack is a good bonus nontheless. I will be preordering this game very soon.

That's a pretty good soundtrack deal, but not enough to make me rush out and buy the game on release.

i haven't gotten my KOF on since 2003 but it was an amazing series. 99 was nice . then they tried the X lol it didnt work so good in the begining but they have improved on it little by little, and i especially like how they have something similar like MVC3's x-factor that they go into while in combos. Terry's finish was the best. I would like to see more new characters with flame powers some kyosunagi blood with more yagami clan memers in here. In the KOF comic book's they had The devil from Tekken but ive never seen him on any KOF games lol i would like to see some crossbreeding of those 2 games lol. maby another like Capcom vs SNK 2, maby they should bring back Capcom Vs SNK 4.

Very nice. That is a pretty interesting pre-order deal. Especially for those who is going to buy the game anyway. I am really digging this. The music in KOF games was always cool. I will never forget the day the played KOF '95 for the first time; because I loved the music and played the game non stop. Looking good guys. This game is going to be great. I played KOF 13 a lot at the arcade, so I can't wait to play it at home.

Now you can have epic theme music while you are cleaning your room.

Now if the bonus included a full reimbursement for buying XII I would love this! But a bit too much to hope for, but I actually got high hopes for this one. I just wish Alba and Soire would be thrown in since it seems like we're never gonna get another Maximum Impact. I just hope it picks up so that Capcom could possibly consider making another Capcom Vs SNK.
