What are the odds that it will be Killzone 1 on DLC and the others on disc? Sony surprised me when they gave me God of War Origins as DLC rather than disc with God of War Saga. I will just keep my Killzone 2 and 3.

Amazon France listing for PlayStation 3 collection suggests Sony to bundle past entries in Guerrilla Games' shooter series in October.
If a new listing at Amazon France (spotted by TheSixthAxis) proves accurate, Sony's stable of first-party triple-packs will grow this fall. The retailer has listed a Killzone Trilogy, slotting the PlayStation 3 package to arrive during late October.
No mention was made as to which games are to be included with the trilogy, though Guerrilla Games' three core installments are likely candidates. The original Killzone shipped in 2004 for the PlayStation 2, with Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 launching in 2009 and 2011, respectively, for the PS3.
A Sony representative told GameSpot, "We have made no announcements."
Previously released Sony first-party triple-packs for the PS3 include those for the Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Resistance, and Ratchet & Clank franchises. Additionally, just this week Sony launched a God of War five-pack and an Infamous compilation.
Amazon France has a history of spilling information on new, unannounced retail offerings. The website was responsible for providing first details on software collections for Ratchet & Clank, Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia, and Team Ico games Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. In addition, the site revealed that Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would arrive for the PlayStation Vita.

Yo I'm glad for this! I rented 2 and 3 last year, never played 1. Now I can own them at one low price. Maybe I should wait for the Resistance collection too. I just have the first.

1 Like Reminds me of a deal I saw at Best Buy...a PS3 controller bundled with Killzone 3 for $60. Was so tempted to buy that, but I already got like 3 controllers (eh..they were gifts, and some people seem to think I'm a raging gamer, which I'm not :P). Moral of the story is, it took a controller to have me interested in Killzone 3. Having 2 of these games for the price of one? LOL (and yes, I'm trolling. No, I'm not serious. I love Killzone 2&3 :D).
@Lordcrabfood single player is medicore indeed, but multiplayer is brilliant.... (plenty of players are still playing, both, killzone 2 and 3)

Personally I like the Single player in both games I really like that weighted feeling KillZone has feels more like I'm actually holding a gun then in other FPS games. As for the multiplayer I love KZ3's multiplayer it's great KZ3 and Halo are the only online multiplayers I like there both great but I didn't like KZ2's multiplayer it was boring IMO the only change I'd ask for in KZ3's multiplayer is the addition of Split Screen online play like Halo so me and my bro can dominate.

Actually thought similar... single player was decent in all of em. Multiplayer was only tolerable in 3.

If all 3 games are included and it's only $40, I'll get it. I only own Killzone 2. I just picked up the 5 game God of War Saga collection. Now I can sell the trilogy version online.
Hmm, remastered Killzone original ?? I spent countless hours with my friend on that offline Skirmish Mode. So many hours !!!!
I knew it. I'll likely be getting this and I predict Resistance will be the next collection.
Now I know this may be a minor point to some but I'm considering getting Uncharted 3. Now given that Sony are re-packaging their exclusives with these collections I'm wondering whether the Uncharted trilogy will have "all dlc" in the games? If so, then it will be a HECK OF ALOT of content. All the map packs in UC 2 and all the same in UC 3 along with the new modes and trophies.
Well I guess I'll wait it out. I'm guessing the UC trilogy will either come before Christmas or in time for "The Last Of Us" (Naughty Dog game).

The first game was pretty okay, not great, but not horrible either. I hope they fix a few minor things and do the game justice. Not too many people really played nor cared for the series until the 2nd one game out....with good reason, but still, KZ1 wasn't too bad. Worth a play for sure.
4 Like The one thing I have to say is that I'm pleased with how Sony actually care about their customers. They've been churning out original IP's and exclusives since UC 1 in 2007.
Long may it continue.
The thing about these exclusives is that Sony are reaping the rewards because now they have "varied" gaming content to offer along with the multi-platform games.
I'm sure all Playstation gamers will agree when I say that it is a good time to be a Playstation gamer.

I think Killzone 4, however, can wait until next-gen. Would be a good PS4 launch title. I can't see another main-series entry showing much improvement over KZ3. Graphics are something that's very important to Killzone, more so than most other shooter series.
KIllzone 3 came out TOO early. I should be coming out THIS year or early next year.
I WANT Killzone 4 and play as the Helghan in their losing war on Vekta. This would be a great begging as we struggle and fight off the ISA only to lose. Would make for great conflict of feelings.
7 Like Killzone needs a HD re-release, rather than a simple port as a PS2 classic. It could iron out all the technical problems that held the game back.
@kkee YES, there were too many bugs and the Guerrilla games has stated that the PS2 was just not powerful enough to do the game as they wanted.
5 Like I also hope that they do an HD remake of the original Killzone. And again I say that if Sony was on their game with the emulation, they could have included Killzone: Liberation in the pack too!

@PcGamingRig No. Killzone 2 and 3 focus on one character. Don't let that stop you from playing them though, they are both incredible awesome and intense games. Some of the best shooters this generation. They are one of the very few games I've played that actually make you feel like you are in the middle of a gunfight.
