Killzone: Shadow Fall a PS4 launch title

@loopy_101 bland art design was killzone 2. from waterfalls, to HUGE landscapes, your in the Vekta city now, and a HUGE ass wall separates you and the Helghast. open your eyes, they had alot going on in the demo.

i mean seriously a bomb goes off, blows up half the city, medics trying to assist, women in the background screaming and you say it was bland...you know why it felt bland, cause they toned down the actual gameplay to give you a sense of everything that was actually happening. if you know any killzone title, it will carry weight to the character and not make u feel like thin air floating around the city, ala call of duty. either way, watch it agin, you sound like a troll.

@frodo10 yeah wish there was a new IP that looked cool they showed that knack game but it just looked like something for little kids. I don't know why they didn't just hold off on last of US and make it a PS4 game I think that was a mistake on Sony's part. I don't want another Uncharted new IP with good story line is were its at.

@Uberdruck looks like killzone is maybe a bit better better but thats only because they watered  Crysis 3 down so it worked on PS3/360 Crysis 3 is looks almost the same as Crysis 2. No real improvements and they are both built to come out on 10 year old hardware its hard to upscale them to look better then that on PC

@sabresieben I played Killzone 1 and Killzone 2 on PS3 never finsished 2 it was to much of the same as killzone 1. I found it got boring to many of the same units over and over nothing ground breaking if you ask me. Half life 2 was better game it at least had a good story line Killzones story sucks and I can't see them making it any better. The game play in this new game looks good better then befor the flying arownd holding on to the rope bit looked cool looks like they might add some more game play elements. I hope you get to fly one of jet things or there is some mech combat stuff thats not just your standared FPS game Killzone has good graphics thats it. I want good story and some more game play elements if I'm going to play the same IP again.

@sabresieben The thing that drew me in to Killzone 2 is the sheer scale and immersion in every battle. You have those world war II sized battles with then top notch graphics and sound design as well as an enemy as menacing as the helghast and it did create a uniquely immersive experience. It also feels like one of the only fps's that's still truly difficult. It stayed in that 2005 sweet spot of FPS evolution where many of the modern mechanics of fps's were coming into use, but it still hadn't been watered down to create more of a ride out of it. That's really what most FPS's feel like. They send you on ride that's enjoyable, but only creates the occasional illusion of challenge so that you make it through fairly quickly and the flow is uninterrupted. This isn't inherently bad, it's a nice pacing technique, but it's still nice to really go up against a challenge and perfect a strategy through trial and error. Wow, that was a long tangent.

Don't mind the haters bro. I really like the Killzone games too. Someone on the net will always tell you you're wrong. Fuck em. I thought the campaign of KZ3 was amazing as well(if not a little short, but I forgave it because it was so enjoyable, IMO).

@philMcCrevis Please tell me ur new to the FPS genre. Killzone is as generic as they come.

@philMcCrevis If Killzone is your favorite FPS franchise, i question what FPS games you have played. Or Maybe I am the only one who thinks Killzone is just okay and nothing too good?
