Killzone: Shadow Fall a PS4 launch title
Guerrilla Games' new first-person shooter to be available when new system launches this holiday.
Killzone: Shadow Fall will be a PlayStation 4 launch title, developer Guerrilla Games has confirmed through the PlayStation Blog.
"It has been an amazing journey for us so far, being offered the opportunity to be a launch title for the new PlayStation, and the subsequent mild panic to figure out how to best handle all of that," wrote Guerrilla Games senior producer Steven Ter Heide.
Shadow Fall saw its world debut at the 2013 PlayStation Meeting on Wednesday evening. The game--set 30 years after the events of Killzone 3--takes place in a new world and puts players into the boots of an all-new hero, the Shadow Marshal.
Another confirmed PS4 launch title is stylized platformer Knack, from Sony Japan Studio. Gamers play as Knack, a creature with the ability to use relics he finds along his journey to give himself new abilities throughout every level.
