Killzone: Mercenary coming to PlayStation Vita

awesome news! i'm going to be grabbing this one up!

Now buying a Vita :) Hope they make more things that the PS3 and the vita can interact together with.

Hopefully it kicks butt like KZ should. :P

Already watched the trailer, look like we can get money when we kill the enemy, hope we can buy/costumize weapon in this game.

Competeing against Nintendo for the handheld market is extremely difficult. The Sony handhelds have never really posed any kind of threat to Nintendo and this one won't either. I do have to admit that the little that I've seen of killzone mercernaries for Vita looks better that Killzone on the over priced internet ready blu ray player. But it won't be enough for vita to come close to the ds family of handhelds.

I am such a huge Killzone fanboy that I may have to buy a Vita just to play this.That makes me sad. :(

another reason why the vita is failing it needs ps vita games not small ports of PS3 games we need new ps vita games then maybe it will sell

I enjoyed Killzone liberation on the PSP. So Killzone Mercency for PSvita is a game I will buy. Whether this game is going to be the smash hit is unknown til release. Sony did not do that with Resistance Burning skies. Or Ridge Racer 2 Playstation series which did not become hit on the PSvita. Hopefully Killzone will do much better.

Just watched the trailer, it looks so much better than BO Declassified.

As long as you can support the Helghast, I will be buying this for sure. They may look like the Nazis, but the ISA are the Nazis (read up on the timeline).

this seems to be a major gripe with the vita, making watered down versions of older PS3 games and still charging too much.  To me the vita needs a price drop not only for the console but also for the games.  The games should be no more than $30 seeing that a PS3 version that uses more resources to create and is many times larger costs $40-60.  And partnering with AT&Terrible for an extremely overpriced and extremely limited 3G plan is adding another nail in the coffin.   I'll get a Vita only if Sony gets their act straight and seeing that I just sold my PS3 means I doubt I'll be getting one.  I want Sony to make me and many others want this system and feel it's worth it.

killzone vita!!!!   awesome i saw that it is developed in house,  so there are no exuses , its got better than  resistence on the vita.... resistance vita just din't have the flavor of resistance ps3.. same goes for  uncharted good but coulnt help to get the distinktion that something was missing... i dont know... anyway KILZONE FF VITA WOOOT!!!!!!!!!!

Sony has done a great job with the Killzone Franchise, I hope this is decent quality to match what KZ fans expect.

Unless KZ Vita story and single player experience is amazing, IT wont be good enough unless people r  just looking for a FPS to play on Vita. Vita needs a new I.P.  Something that would make gamers want to get a Vita for who r not persuaded by Sony yet. Something that would be amazing evenif it wasnt on the Vita. I hope this spin off is successful though and that im wrong. I hope its enough to get gamers excited evenif its just another Killzone. Love it or hate it. I expect more then just a  FPS Killzone on Vita and I WANT TO BUY ONE but Sony is not selling me with this..

Yay! The Vita is starting to have a good selection of big-name titles. Now it just needs an exclusive God of War and GTA to really be successful.

Woot! Playstation > Nintendo!!! :D

We may have to see whether first-person shooters like Killzone: Mercenary will encourage software sales of the Vita and the hardware itself in the Western markets.
