Kid Icarus: Uprising takes wing March 23

why is gamestop being such a @#$%! and delaying the damn circle pad pro....im a lefty and urge to play

My only concern about the circle pad is my ability to comfortable reach the face buttons.

Do you know Nintendo that there are many MANY countries that the 3DS is being sold and there are no GameStop stores...?

Exclusively through Gamestop? IMO this might turn off publishers and developers. Less access, Smaller sales.

Anyone else wondering if the Circle Pad Pro will also allow the 3DS to work as a 2nd controller for the Wii U?

Those trailers looks fantastic in 3D,especially when Pit is soaring over vast mountains and lakes.Great visuals for a handheld. These past few months have been a superb time to be a 3DS owner.System updates,top notch titles,ambassador package,etc. I'm gunna be wearing my thumbprint into my Circle Pad!

The list is long but, for me, not that WOW (partly because I'm not a 3DS onwer)

The 3DS lineup looks superb! I'm glad my birthday's in March. I'll have some extra spending money to buy some of these. It looks like the Wii and DS are heading to their graves. Only one good game in each lineup. Well for this quarter it will be almost a year after the release of the 3DS, so it's appropriate that it's time for the DS to retire, but the Wii U isn't out yet, so why is the Wii joining it?

Glad Kid Icarus is coming out before the 3DS turns 1 year old.

Kid Icarus, VVVVVV 3DS, Rhythm Heaven Fever, Mario Party 9, Jett Rocket, Kirby Block Ball(Never even heard of that), and Pokepark 2. Although it is still disappointing that Luigi's Mansion 2, Mario Tennis, and Paper Mario 4 are MIA, that's a pretty solid quarter.

F*ck the circle pad, I would rather wait for a redesign. Add to the fact that it's a freaking GameStop exclusive means I won't gonna buy it at all though I'm excited for Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snaker Eater, Resident Evil: Revelation, Tales of the Abyss, Kid Icarus Uprising, Tekken Prime, and Rayman Origins.

@xcollector : The stick is optional,the memory cards for vita however...cost much more and are absolutely necessary.

Since it's looks fantastic, Gamespot will give it a 7.0 or a 6.5 for being "too creative".

How weird. Most of this happens before and after my birthday which means more gifts!

The 3DS' line is pretty good, whereas the DS and Wii's lines are rather weak, especially considering there are some great titles available in Japan that NOA is not willing to release, probably because they don't want to invest in anything but million+ seller titles. I wish I could play Wii's Last Story or the second Fire Emblem for DS.

Only Nintendo could conjure up the idea of charging gamers extra for an analog stick. Imagine if you had to pay extra to get the right stick on your PS3/360 controller lol. They sure learned well from the Wii.

The 3DS is looking great in 2012 already. Keep up the great work, Nintendo. Good thing the 3DS circle pad pro is optional, similar to the Wii Classic controller.

With RE: Revelations and Kid Icarus on the horizon, it looks like the 3DS is just gonna keep the good times rolling.

@servb0ts You mean when they said "Kid Icarus will make its debut on the 3DS"? cause to me thats not a launch statement. Only thing I've heard about it being a launch game from was gamespot with their listings of 3DS games, but never any dates.

@Wetty01 Well Overclocked for the first Devil Survivor was announced around 18 months after the original DS version came out. I don't think Atlus is going to announce Overclocked for no.2 for some time (if it is going to happen), since it will take wind out of their sales for Devil Survivor 2 on the original DS.

I have to go to GameStop to buy the second thumbstick? Goddammit, Nintendo, quit sucking GameStop's dick and just let every store sell it, you'd make more money that way.

well, that makes two games with the "optional" analog on it. The redesign is right around the corner once they have cashed in on some sales of it as a 'peripheral'.

Call him fan-boyish or bias,but I think the 3DS is going to crush the VITA during Q1 next year. Will be getting REvelations,Tekken 3D Prime Edition and Kid Icarus Uprising.

Hey has anyone notice the similarity between kid icarus and super smash bros brawl? Both games are developed by the same team, and were suppose to be released on december before the holidays. But was eventually delayed to March.

Though it technically isn't..when I see a game with this much change over this long a period I personally consider Kid Icarus a new i.p.The e-shop lineup looks incredibly promising and includes titles I didn't even knew were coming.However the wii and ds lineup is ABYSMAL,seriously Nintendo...I thought you were waiting until the wii-u was release to stop making games for wii....

Finally. THIS is what I wanted a 3DS for. The main game I wanted it for I mean, not the only game.

As cool as Kid Icarus is, the first thing I thought when I saw the headline was, "Cool! Now they can get going on Smash Bros!" Then I looked at the comments and realized I wasn't the only one who was thinking it. :P

Man...this Gamestop exclusitivity with Nintendo lately is worrying me. I wanted a circle pad pro but don't support gamestop. Hopefully Nintendo gives us the option to order it directly from them like with Xenoblade. And for all those people boycotting the circle pad pro because it should have been made in the 3DS in the first place....grow up. Yes, I agree it should have been as well but at least Nintendo is fixing their mistake quickly so we can enjoy twin stick first person shooters down the road in 3D, among other games. Also, Rayman Origins is a surprise for 3DS, hopefully it's good I definitely will pick it up if it scores nearly as good reviews as the console version.

If you told me Kid Icarus would be remade one day, at any point before Uprising was announced, I would have called you crazy.

3DS circle pad add on being sold exclusively at gamestop? You know what that means :P it will be forever forgotten and if the 3DS does get a revision sometime in the future the odds of it having a second analog are close to zeroooo!!!! Plus i'm pretty sure nintendo didn't even want to make that add on..it was all capcoms idea I don't even think nintendo is the one manufacturing it.

I cannot see that circle pad being well built, if it has a sale price of 20 dollars, that just smacks of poor quality. But Kid Icarus does look good, and ill pick it up eventually, I am assuming the 3ds lite and other models are on the way.

@servb0ts I'm assuming your talking about Kid Icarus, and no it wasn't, All they said was that they was bringing kid Icarus back to the Nintendo gaming system by means of the 3ds. They never said it was a launch game that I know of anyway. unless there's an article that I never read.

3DS has a great Q1 lineup, even without Monster Hunter. The Wii lineup now, that's just disappointing.

This was suppose to be 3DS debut launch game. Nintendo needs to be certain before announce a release date, its only going to piss off the consumer yet again.
