Katamari Damacy sequel delayed
The follow-up to Namco's quirky surprise hit gets rolling this summer.
It looks like fans of Namco's Katamari Damacy will have to wait a bit more for its upcoming sequel. While the official page for Minna Daisuki Katamari Damacy still dates the game for a spring release, the latest issue of Famitsu magazine reports that Namco is pushing back the release date a few months to this summer.
Minna Daisuki Katamari Damacy will feature the same basic rules and controls as the previous installment. Gamers once again assume the role of the diminutive Prince of All Cosmos and will roll around a giant ball of sticky debris (katamari), clumping together various objects that are scattered throughout the stages, snowball style, making it bigger and bigger.
