Kane & Lynch film director quits

ugh why are people so ignorant that would have been a 5 star movie for god sake well i can only image how bad that guy would have made the movie

Wayne Kramer would be a perfect fit for this kind of movie. But that's kind of the problem I have with Kane and Lynch. It feels like a video-game adaptation of Running Scared.

I will direct this movie for free! just give me a place to stay and peanut and jelly sandwiches and that's it! I am the next spielberg !

Maybe Jamie Foxx is just one hell of an actor that he has no troble playing the part of an old balding white psycopath.

This is the only time I've actually thought a movie could be better than the game it's based on...... Game had a cool story......but the actual gameplay was very disappointing imo.

Eh, the lead roles aren't right, Kane & Lynch isn't a white guy and black guy, they are two white guys, WTF is wrong with Hollywood? I guess you can count this one dead before it launched......

I think this would have been a rare case where the film is better than the game...

There isn't a real demand for making a film out of this game, people don't like the characters or the game, the sequel didn't do well either so why waste money on making this ? Hitman had good reviews, was liked by gamers and had a good/decent film why not make a Hitman sequel instead of making this which will most likely bomb since there really isn't much of a fan base to begin with.

Why are you all so critical now? All a movie that is BASED on a game needs to copy from game are the: Title, character names, the setting, and the special effects. Rest is all NEW things.

they should get Mel Gibson as Lynch he is so psychic like lynch exactly..infact he would be a very great role :P alot of F! words..you know..but it would be crazy to see Mel Gibson With so long hair :P!

who cares whose in it? These video game movie directors never play or have any idea about the games they make films on anyways, so whose in it is totally irrelevant imo, altho i do like jamie fox, i am having a hard time seeing him as a long haired, yet bald white antisocial psychotic doctor in a wife beater tshirt, but im thinking he's probably cast for the law enforcement face chasing the pair as opposed to the main protagonist themselves.

Jamie Foxx? Doesn't make sense and this movie will fail hard because of it.

What about Lynch can be played by Nicolas Cage and Kane can be played by either John Travolta or Bruce Willis i would personally love to see Cage and Travolta do another movie together.

I don't see where Jamie Fox would fit into the film... I like how people are slating the game when its a movie they are talking about making, To be honest the story was interesting no hold bars thats the bits i did like from it. I think Gerard Butler and Bruce Willis could fit into this movie for some reason.

Then again maybe the movie would be redeeming... still, cannot have high hopes with such poor source material. I would welcome a decent heist movie just someone promise me Clooney will not be in.
