Just Cause dev not making Superman game

Just Cause 2 was a blast.

The only company i feel that should make a Superman game is Rocksteady. if they can pull off a miracle and make the two best batman games ever released on consoles then they can surely pull off a miracle and  make a good Superman game.

make a smallville game !!, in smallville his powers is not quite there yet so you can acquire a new power for completing a level or as the story goes on like the show, also in smallville kryptonite practically grows on trees everyone seems to have some so it would make sense for him to "lose health" when dealing with enemies, whereas superman the game it wouldn't make sense for him to lose health especially when kryptonite seems pretty rare in the movies. and if they do make a smallville game make the "power bar or mana bar" whatever you want to call it, make it refill itself, it would be retarded for clark/superman to walk around the city looking for "power bottles or mana bottles" so that he can fly and use his eye lasers and powers etc

A well made Superman game would be awesome however I am not sure if Just cause would be the best studio in the first place.

I wouldn't trust the "Just Cause" devs to make a decent Superman game. Superman games would have to be treated very delicately due to most of them sucking in the past.

I would love to see a superman game that didn't suck, so far every time they've tried it has been a disaster.  Guess the man of steel is a little too powerful for meager video games.

Who needs another Superman game? I absolutely *love* Superman 64. It's definitely one of those games I pull out every year or so to--lmao. I couldn't keep a straight face. XD

Just give it to Rocksteady already.

it can be done, it just takes the right develper with the right ideas on how to make the game challenging as well as making being superman awesome. with a charecter with so much rich history it should be easy............ now somebody hurry up and do it!!!!!!!!!!

No one seems to able to make being Superman in a video game fun. Superman Returns wasn't really a bad game, it just wasn't fun. I guess its worth mentioning that the film was basically the same; great effects, just not interesting in the slightest. Hopefully Man of Steel will get things back on track.

Can we have an article about how Activision isn't working on a Terminator game? Or how Capcom isn't working on a Magic School Bus game? These things are important! People need to know what people aren't doing!

I don't get it . Why would making a Superman game be weird ??? if it's done right and NOT developed half-baked it would sell MILLIONS. for example, the upcoming Injustice game by netherealms looks damn good and im sure it will sell like pancakes !!!

the only Superman game i played is Superman return by EA Tiburon on my PS2 and oh my gosh that game is awful, the only thing that's good about that game is fly as high as i can and then fly down with incredible speed into the center of Metropolis. The sense of speed and looking at the city slowly getting closer and more detail are amazing. Realizing that, making me think that Superman game is not a bad idea, you can actually make it good. If game developer could not make it as a gritty, story-oriented game like Batman Arkham series, they should making it ridiculously epic with giant enemies, brutal melee combat, crazy flying sequences, and creative, physics-defying set pieces...damn, PLATINUM Games should be the one making it!

No video game developer would even try to develop a Superman video game, since it is an impossible franchise along with E.T. to turn into a good video game adaptation.

Give the project to Rocksteady, those guys are awsome!

Lego Batman 2 was a good example of Superman done right. He could do anything and was invincible, which is how it should be.

Considering Superman is almost invincible, I think any game would have to rely on mission pass/fail conditions rather than things like a health bar. It would look a bit silly if you let go of your controller and watched superman be defeated by a henchman.

If I was to make a Superman game he would have to breath and eat.  He would be like a reverse vampire, he has to stay in the sun light or his powers get weaker.  He would have 2 kids twins a boy and girl with Wonder Woman.  They just got super powers at 13 and they are just small super villains or super heroes it depends on there mood that day.  If he punishes them to harshly it will turn Wonder Woman into his enemy.  Oh and Wonder Woman was a super villain who he beat up so badly that she got amnesia and he was just keeping his enemy close.  There people out there who know who she was and you have to keep them away from her.  He can see everyone naked and all there germs MRSA, bloody pads and he is weird clean freak around his family.  Who would want to play this shit game.       

 I think the only way we could get a good superman game if the makers of the recent batman games make it..

The Superman franchise is the kryptonite of video games.  Nobody would want to admit they're making a Superman game.
