Spend a lifetime to create MJ in 2K10. And the game actually added the Jordan brand dunk all by itself :-) Good to have him in the 2k10 version. Now if they also make me skip all the unnecessary game pauses and breaks it'll be great for sure.

Smart move on 2K's part to get MJ on the cover. Still, putting the greatest player EVER on the cover doesn't make the game great. As much as I LOVE Jordan, the 2K Developers had better put on an MVP performance for me to buy it.

I am just so glad that EA doesn't have exclusive rights to the NBA. EA has already ruined the genre of football games. The last 4-5 Maddens have been quiet simply abysmal. 2K deserves a shot at making a good NFL game. I'm atleast going to rent this game.

Very very very smart business move for 2k sports, i have to say! Their PR agent needz a raise and half of the company earnings! Even if the game suckz ***, which i Highly, highly, highly doubt. (or jesus was japanese) They will sell copies. I'm gonna buy it "Just" to see jordan on the cover. Shoot, the actually character himself could play like the bad version of nes double dribble, i'd still buy the game. okay so nba 2k10 was already waaaay better and more realistic than its"competitor" and was one of the best basketball games of all time to me along with 2k3, 2k5, and NBA Street 2 and 3(the newest Street is garbage). MY PLAYER MODE is amazing. And now Micheal mutha******* JORDAN!!! Live or whatever they want to call it(doesn't matter) should just quit bball I mean they still got madden right?

I am impressed 2K Sports was able to get Mike. Finally, EA Sports has to take the back seat on this one. 2K Sports got a big 1 up for such a historic moment in sports video game history. No sports gaming fanchise ever got Mike on the cover of a game. Gorgarin is right to call this a historical moment in gaming history, since this has never happened before. 2K Sports made a great move. Bravo 2K Sports, Bravo!!!

Ok Now I'm sold. Definitely getting this. This is kinda historical,I think it's the first cover Mike's has been on since Chaos in the Windy City.

Jordan is definitely the best player in the league, but it takes more than just an amazing player to make me buy this game. Jordan is great but his behavior wasn't so appealing lately. Like Mike, I want to be like......Cut the music...There will never be another Micheal Jordan. Despite Jordan's actions, you can't deny his greatness at the sport of basketball.

Correct a few tweaks in my player mode and it will be an awesome game...no matter who's on the cover...but Jordan will give it an extra charm if it's a great game...don't think I'll get it just because of Mike if it sucks...

If Jordan is willing, who wouldn't take him for the cover? It's also a move that appeals to more fans, a lot more fans.

I do believe Jordan and Pippen made each other better; they fed off one another. Pippen sub-par/average? Laughable.

@mos2000 I think it's just mostly kaboom that is the hater of Jordan on here. As I've said, I loved Jordan. He's the reason I started watching basketball in the first place. 'Course, I haven't watched much since the Bulls won their last championship under Jordan and the other good players on the team. I think I'll take I'll try to start watching again. Bball is the only sport that got me jumping in the air with excitement. I never could get into football or the other sports, but bball just got my adrenalin going when I watched a good game. I loved watching the playoffs with the Bulls and whoever they were playing against.

Let me just address this idiotic notion that Jordan is just some vane, over-rated player who's ridin' other coaches/players coat tales. Jordan by far is the GREATEST basketball player to touch the ball in our time. This whiney notion that only if Lebron had better players he could win is bogus. Jordan himself was able to take the crappy/sub-par players around him and mentor them to create a championship team. This includes Pippen. Those old enough to know what they're talking about knows that Pippen's game and style was pretty much a carbon copy of Jordan's. Has Lebron had the same success, no. Dang, about time. I always loved Michael Jordan. Really loved watching him in one particular game were he scored six points in like ten seconds. Kept stealing the ball and running it through to a slam dunk right through the defense. Magic Johnson was commentating and he said, "This is Michael Jordan's show." Best moment ever.

MJ is the best ever; however, 2K needs to refocus on what made the franchise better than Live, gameplay.

Sad to say I have had no intrest in a sports game till now.. I will have to buy this if tis good.

Jordan did replace Dr. J in the " . . . Vs. Bird" games. I Got that. In the NBA In The Zone game (I believe it's '96 version), his entire likeness (except his name) was on there. I believe Konami got sued for that; but I got that 1! LOL He did reappear, again, on PS1's NBA Shootout '98. I believe that may have been the last game that had anythin' 'like' MJ on it. His name in those games, was always "player." LOL Anythin' with MJ on it, would be prior to the affore-mentioned games, & go back to the land of Sega Genesis. It'll be good to rock with him on next-gen.

OK it will be cool to play as MJ for the first few days after release but the only thing that matters is how the game plays and I'm thinking Elite will finally get 2K this year. Just my opinion.

LeBron is still very young so he still has plenty of time to get a ring.Coming from a Cleveland fan myself, I am hoping he stays with the Cavaliers!

No matter who is on the cover, 2K is still better then Live (Elite).
