THE GAME IS RATED M FOR A REASON. This guy seems to think that every nine year old is playing GTA, and is becoming influenced by it. I a nine year old is playing it then it is the parents fault that they aren't keeping a close eye on what their kids are doing. It also is the parents fault that the kids have a gaming system like an Xbox.

My goodness this man is an idiot and is probebly making a lot of money out of these law suits somehow. As long as age restrictions exist then there is no problem and if he really wants to sue he should attack the DUMB parents that go out and buy the MA15+ game for there 9 year old. Seriously, what gives? Read the damn label!!

Thompson cannot win. There are a hell of a lot more gamers than people against violent games and anything of the sort. Manhunt 2 and GTA IV ARE going to be released, if Thompson "destroys" Take-Two the fan bases of the GTA games and the Manhunt series are going to make sure the company comes back.

Haha, Jack's crusade indeed. I hope that Mcboogs's mission idea is not only present in GTA4, but also involves a new weapon called the BibleThumper. With a 50 caliber punch, it sends a projectile holy book at the unsuspecting law man and leaves him with massive paper burns.

To be honest, I admire Thompson's steadfast determination in his crusade against video games, but the man just cannot win. Thompson's arrogance in this most recent issue with Take-Two (as with all of his legal battles) will be the end of him, eventually. Every time this man brings a developer to court he only gets himself into more and more trouble.

jack thompson is one dick of a person why does one man believe he has no right to try and control the general public . if he's so big and bad and thinks this is what everyone believes why doesn't he ask for a state wide vote i'm sure there are enough gamers to vote against such a blow to the industry. if such a thing would come to pass (the trial not the vote) i would surely have to gather as many people as i can and protest. or move to canada . the worst thing about his actions is that i never really would have cared about manhunt but with all this publicity he's given it i'll probably pick up a copy

Jack Thompson is fighting video games by using the words strike back and even stating that he prayed to God that Take-Two would so something stupid. Which is ironic isn't it? He says he wants to ban violent video games but in his crusade to do so, he seems to want to do nothing other than "strike back" (violently?) at Take-Two as stated in the title of the article.

I don't mind that he doesn't like violent video games and wants them to stop. It's his oppinion. What I mind is that he is looking for a fight with anybody that he doesn't agree with. I love how he fights violent video games with violent words. "Destory, strike back, the pit Take Two has dug." It doesn't even sound like he cares about anything else but "destroying" video game companies that make violent ones.
