@marco1k1 I didn't log in for awhile so thats why didn't reply to your comment right away. Even though there appears to be some core titles on the app store with the N.O.V.As and infinity blades as well as other ports of non-casual games, app store is flooded with casual titles and unfortunately that seems to be a growing trend, even with xbox live and psn. The point I was making was the loyalty that people have towards other game handheld brands like nintendo or sony handhelds seems comparable to a person who spends that much money on every ipad or phone revision when you look at the "I got to buy a new ds or psp every time a revised system comes out" attitude. And that is hypocritical.
iPad 3 to be announced next month - Report
Apple will unveil iPad 2 successor during first of week of March at an event in San Francisco, Wall Street Journal sources say.
There will soon be another iOS device for gamers to use. Apple will announce the iPad 3 at an event in San Francisco next month, according to sources speaking with The Wall Street Journal's All Things Digital.
The sources did not say when Apple will begin selling the iPad 3, but if its release schedule falls in line with that of the iPad 2, users can expect to have the device a week after it is announced.
This latest speculation falls in line with a rumor from last month that pegged the iPad 3 to be available for purchase in March. That speculation suggested Apple had its Chinese production factories operating 24 hours a day to manufacture the necessary volume for launch.
As for the iPad 3 (or whatever Apple decides to call the device), it is believed to boast a similar form factor to the iPad 2 but will sport a significantly faster processor, a high-definition screen, and LTE network support that will carry data faster than the iPad 2's present 3G speeds.
