Infinity Blade dev releasing Obama vs. Romney brawler

Chair Entertainment's free cartoon-style iOS game Vote!! The Game available tomorrow, has incumbent and challenger duking it out for presidency.
Chair Entertainment is following up Infinity Blade II with another downloadable brawler, but with a very different theme. The company today announced Vote!! The Game, a free cartoon-style iOS game that pits President Barack Obama against former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.
Described as a "lighthearted romp," the game allows players to dress their candidate of choice in a range of comedic outfits, like a disco suit or boxing shorts, and equip them with a series of items, including ice cream cones and microphones. Players will duke it out in various stages, ranging from debate halls to the White House front lawn.
The game also features voice-acted soundalikes, with Obama spouting lines like "All right, we're getting fired up now" and "Can't hold us back. Why? 'Cause we're moving forward." Romney delivers quips like "You like that, huh?" and "It's time to believe in America."
Vote!! The Game is free, but as revealed in the game's announcement trailer (embedded below), users will be able to spend real money to purchase "coins," which can be spent on a range of in-game boosters. These include Filibuster, which adds an extra 30 seconds to the fight; Good Press, which allows players to take a hit without suffering a booster reset; and Health Care, a booster that makes it so players cannot be knocked down.
Additionally, through a partnership with political engagement group Rock the Vote, Vote!! The Game features in-game voter registration for the real-world presidential election this November. On top of this, Chair Entertainment and parent company Epic Games have teamed with the Video Game Voters Network and Project Vote Smart to provide gamers access to various voting resources.
According to the announcement, a portion of the proceeds from Vote!! The Game will go to Rock the Vote.

1 Like Obama has FAKE birth certificate. So his powers would be like going Rouge, being able to hide his Identity.
Oh, so it's free, but you can pay to get advantages. i.e. a pay-to-win scenario and it will probably lose its novelty once the presidential election has passed. And what's this about voting for the real presidential election, that's sounds really weird in this context.
With the way the election is going I wouldn't mind seeing them go physical instead of all the political bs I've seen the last few weeks let alone months.
That was, perhaps, the best iOS game I have ever seen in my life. Then again, that's not saying much, but nonetheless...

I think Obama with a lightsaber would only lead to the President cutting his own head off or Bidens.

2 Like @jcuffley1209 I think you're missing the point here, this game is about making US gamers wake up to their respoonsibility to vote and support an organisation with these goals while being fun, there's no "this is to destroy console games etc etc" here.
@chronocommander @jcuffley1209 no point in voting when presidential elections do not count the popular vote. A New Yorker who supports Romney has no chance of impacting the electoral college whatsoever.

3 Like Well if nothing else atleast they have a side agenda of getting folks to vote. i think this actually a positive/proactive move, and an original idea to use a video game to get people to vote.
If this goes over well this could actually intentionally pave open a new path for videogames.
