Highland Warriors delayed
Data Becker's 3D RTS game set in medieval Scotland is now scheduled for release early next year.
Data Becker announced today that Highland Warriors will not launch at the end of this year, as was originally planned. It is now scheduled to hit store shelves in January 2003. The company said that the team needs more time to balance the game's units. The delay does not affect the company's plans for the release of the game's demo, however. Data Becker expects to release the demo in October of this year.
Highland Warriors is a 3D real-time strategy game set in medieval Scotland. In it, players control one of four factions to determine the fate of Scotland. The game uses a proprietary engine and features changing seasons that will affect its gameplay. For more information about the game, check out our previous coverage .
