Heavenly Sword dev Enslaved on 360, PS3

From what I read in the October game informer, this game is gonna be epic. It is going to be plot heavy and the cinematic value insane, like heavenly sword. They also hinted at having the characters develop some sort of relationship. Cant wait to get it when it comes out.

Geez, these guys know talent when they see it. This oozes promise, some kind of Heavenly Sword 2, comparable feel but a different story and setting. I'm all for it!

Heavenly Sword was absolutely amazing (but too short to be worth full price), so I'm looking forward to anything these guys do.

Don't knock it until you try it. That's what I've been told. So I would give this a try.

hopefully its going to be longer than hs...also to ninja theory..try to put more efforet into to your gameplay instead of cutscenes.

@ snailz couldn't agree more. Anytime I see the words "post apocalyptic", I immediately roll my eyes. On a side note, I totally sucked at Heavenly Sword. That first big fight in the arena area, I got frustrated and never got past it. I'm so ashamed

@TWilliamz Haha... my point exactly, a GAME like that doesn't really exist. A free-roaming game set in a utopian future, or even something like The Fifth Element's future New York would be awesome, but we keep getting these barren waste-land, douche bags with tribal tats, post apocalyptic-style settings. I just think it's getting old.

I loved Heavenly Sword... one of my magical gaming moments!!! I hope this game would have the same magic... I do hope Heavenly Sword 2 should be made...

I like were they are going with this game. Lets see if hit becomes a hit. They should have made Heavenly Sword 2 first. Hopefully they will make Heavenly Sword 2.

In fact I would be more excited about Heavenly Sword 2! I wonder if it is in the works...

oh man i wish they would release another Heavenly Sword, such an underappreciated gem!

I stilll wish we could've had Heavenly Sword 2. It was too short and had some flaws, but provided a great base to work from and was a good start to what should've been a great franchise.

I'm really looking forward to this release, Heavenly Sword was a great game. It was too short, but the graphics, story, and FANTASTIC acting made up for that. I loved Anna Torv as Nariko and Andy Serkis as King Bohan Great news it's multiplat, too!

The motion controls and the music were really the only notable mechanics in Heavenly Sword. I'm sorry but the production quality of HS when compared to GoW is really really under par.

I stopped reading after "set in a post apocalyptic America..." You know what would be cool, a game set in a future utopia with flying cars and jet-packs and stuff.

Ahh Ninja Theory with a new game. Look nice. I wish it were Heavenly Sword 2 but, this will suffice. Heavenly Sword was my first PS3 game. It was like a big budget movie. I was very impressed. Keep up the good work Ninja Theory.

didn't think heavenly sword was that bad, It's story was quite good and andy serkis's work was amazing. I'm not gonna say it is as good as go of war, Because it's not. I love Kratos tales more than most games on the market. I just can't help but feel Heavenly sword deserves better acclaim.

Heavenly Sword is one of the worst games I've ever played. I highly doubt I'll ever buy another Ninja Theory game.

If you read about Enslaved in the Game Informer magazine, than you already know it will be a great game.

How could you want to turn off the motion controls in Heavenly Sword? Heavenly Sword was the best application and integration of sixaxis motion controls in any PS3 game, next to warhawk.They were well thought out and placed into the regular gameplAY without taking it over. They added to the excitement and challenge and fun of the game. The motion controls made the game more immersive, and most importantly, the mo-controls were ACCURATE and RELIABLE, and the response time was so on point it was like you were using the ANALOG STICKS. Ive played other games with sixaxis motion, and they were hit or miss, and not always accurate, like Fight Night 3, and Mirrors edge specifically. A few games implement this well, GTA4 and Fantastic Four, rise of the surfer. IM glad Ninja theory got another chance with another publisher, I was so pissed when I heard Heavenly Sword 2 got cancelled. Sony should have had more faith in NT's product and talent. If they did, Enslaved couldve been another Ps3 exclusive.

@ Carpe_Noctum Lol bro im hoping the entire opposite, i would have hated the shooting with kai in heavenly sword if there was no motion control, thats what made it unique and hard. I hope they have something like that for the ps3 version in this game, it was fun :D. I know the 360 wont get the motion because it doesnt have 6axis.

@ Carpe_Noctum, you can totally turn off heavenly sword's motion control. go to option and search around. it makes the catapult bow missions much easier but to me a bit less fun.

This is kind of old news Enslaved is in the October GameInformer which I got early.. so I guess its just old news to me lol.

While this is cool and all, I'd personally prefer Namco Bandai finally announcing when the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia will be arriving in NA.

Heavenly sword was a lot of fun, and the direction of the cutscenes were spectacular.

Could be cool. I enjoyed Heavenly Sword, but I would like it if they left out the motion control or an option to not have to use it. I'll just get the 360 version to be sure. Looks like the same art style as HS, which I think I am going to play through a 2nd time now.

this game is gonna be awesome! i'm hoping for good stuff here. maybe i'll pick up heavenly sword if i can find it cheap for sure.

@Scienceray Uncharted: Incredible LittleBigPlanet: Amazing Killzone 2: Only bested by COD4, and that's arguable. Resistance 2: Okay story, but awesome multiplayer. MGS4: Not even mentioned, but possibly the greatest game ever made. God of War: Once the collection comes out, it is a day-one purchase. Infamous: Good not great, but worth a full play-through. MLB The Show: The best baseball franchise ever created. Uncharted 2: 2009 Game of the Year. Warhawk: Still going strong as a substantial multiplayer game. Valkyria Chronicles: Perhaps the most underrated game this century. Not to mention PSN games like Flower, Fat Princess, Wipeout HD, PixelJunk Eden, etc. I'm sick of people saying Playstation doesn't have any good games. It's been out for 3 years now, and the games are clearly there. Open your f'n eyes.

Even though Heavenly Sword flew under the radar and didn't live-up to expectations at the retail market, this game still deserves the utmost praise. In fact, I'm willing to say that it's one of the main reasons to purchase a PS3 - a system seller if you will. Granted, many gamers might find the experience fairly short, but every moment within just screams quality... even despite being a God of War clone in many ways. Considering you can find a copy of Heavenly Sword for $20 bucks nowadays, it's worth picking-up when you have the chance.

@BigBacon87 I dont know where you get the idea that all the games that you just listed were any good LBP was the only one that is good, uncharted was okay, infamous was stupid, killzone didnt live up to expectations, and resistence 2 = wanna be gears of war 2, you'll be looking forward to uncharted 2 god of war 3 *never played the series so it doesnt affect me at all*, and whats mod nation? sounds stupid. and the lost guardian will be interesting but nothing more than dog sitting the only thing that the ps3 has thats even remotely interesting form me is blu-ray other than that there arent any games im interested in.

I loved Heavenly Sword. If this game has the same level of quality, I'm all for playing it.
