Haunted Mansion spooks stores
Disney-licensed movie and theme-park-ride tie-in hits shelves today.
The Haunted Mansion, one of the first movie tie-in games of the holiday season, is set to reach stores today.
Published by TDK and developed by High Voltage Software, the game is based on the same Disneyland theme-park ride as the film, a looming estate inhabited by numerous specters and sprites. The third-person adventure follows hero Zeke Holloway--a character in neither the film nor ride--as he solves puzzles while evading undead spirits.
The Haunted Mansion is available for the Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Game Boy Advance. The MSRP of $39.99 includes a free ticket to the November movie of the same name, which stars Eddie Murphy.
