Half-Life, Counter-Strike updates Wednesday
Valve will release new updates for its popular action games later this week.
Valve Software has announced that the next updates for Half-Life and Counter-Strike, its popular action games, will be released later this week. Both Half-Life version 1.1.1.0 and Counter-Strike version 1.5 will include the Ricochet Mod and the second phase of Valve's recently introduced anticheat technology. A new Counter-Strike map, de_piranesi, will also be included, along with a number of fixes and refinements. Valve plans to release the server files on Tuesday evening and the client files on Wednesday morning at 11:00am PST. Those using Valve's Steam online distribution system will automatically receive the client files.
