Rockstar reps on the Leipzig show floor confirm the 30-hour juvenile delinquency sim will soon be making mischief on a new platform.
After making a return to Bullworth Academy on the Xbox 360 and Wii earlier this year with the updated Scholarship Edition, Bully will soon make mischief on another platform. According to signage and postcards at Rockstar Games' booth at the Leipzig Games Convention, the once-controversial juvenile delinquency will soon be graduating to PC.
According to German-language handouts at the Rockstar stand, Bully: Scholarship Edition (known locally as Bully: Die Ehrenrunde) will be "soon available for PC" with "82 missions and 45 school hours, more than 30 hours of fun and countless collector and minigames." The game tells the story of Jimmy Hopkins, a troubled 15 year old who is dumped at the front gates of New England private school Bullworth Academy by his mother. At the prestigious school, Jimmy will deals with his past while trying to keep out of trouble and beat the school's bullies at their own game.
For more on Bully: Scholarship Edition, read GameSpot's reviews of the Xbox 360 and Wii editions. The game was originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2006 after legal obstacles laid by permanent disbarment-facing anti-game activist/attorney Jack Thompson were thrown out.
Nice, I got it to the ps2 and Wii. i was hoping for some changes but there wasnt really anything that special i might sell it and buy the pc version though since hopefully the graphics will be the same as 360 ?:)
Well September is almost over and still no official info on the PC version. So has this died or what ?.
man we need a sequal for ps3 i swear this is one of the most underrated game ever just like the 1st mafia game story line is great i need more bully on ps3!!!!!!!!
This is absolutely the one console game I've missed the most on the PC to date - glad to see gaming coming home :).
well gives us news again when you make a sequel rockstar, in stead of just making the same game over and over again, even though it is awesome.
finally finally.. maybe i should give rockstar a call to check if its indeed the pc version.. But i already have it played on the pc, but then with an emulator, but that was sucking a lot, but now finally! @Dark_being yes it would be worth, all rockstar games would be worthy of a second or even third or fourth playtrough.. in any case thats my opinion
Any Rockstar news is good news, a real fun game...load times better be gone they nearly ruin the 360 version. Its funny how the critics were up in arms about Bully (no name change needed for 360/wii? but ps2 is canis cadem edit?), now that gtaiv has comeout they all have a new scapegoat. Rockstar isn't stupid people they have to make a crust somehow, they have always sold the console versions first and these games (gtaiv, bully etc) need to exclusive to consoles so they can get all the bugs out for the pc versions.
About bloody time! I wish Rockstar would hurry up and bring them to the PC. I absolutely love their GTA series on the PC, as the modding and the graphics are amazing compared to their PS2/Xbox versions. Waiting till Nov for GTA4 is kind of cruel and unusual punishment. ~grin~
That rockstar. ... I always like this, maintaining secret it to you the end and leaving the fans of the PC drooling. In the epoch that threw I were wanting to lot the fall. Good, still I want, in spite of has it to you lowered to little the dust, and I not has it to you played the fall. Thanks rockstar, Now only is lacking Manhunt 2?! ... Who knows some day midnight club come back also for the PC...
Nice. This game is just begging for some mods. I'd agree with lamprey263, though, in that I'd have rather been hearing about a sequel, or a large expansion or something like that.
jeez, I was kind of hoping the next Bully news would be about a sequel or something, I hope once the PC port is over they'll consider making a multiplatform sequel
Why are people complaining about this? I think its good news that they port it over to the PC so that we that use PC as our main gaming platform get to play this game. If you don't like it, then don't comment on it.
That's good for PC Bully FANS** But I would suggest play on PS2 or Xbox 360! I played mine on PS2. You can relax and PLAYY** But still ROCKSTARGAMES ROCKZZZZzzzZZ!
I guess this is good news, but Bully isn't really a game that requires top notch graphics or mouse and keyboard support.
Wow...make it on the PC just to get a few bucks. All they did was just updated it to fit the 360 and the Wii, add more missions and some classes and call it a new game. Now they are just doing the same thing for the PC...what about College? XD LMAO
What about the PS3. If the game's that good, then more people should be able to experience it (and I know that there's a PS2 version, but still).
Well guys, this is Rockstar as we know it and love it, they never fail to us the PC gamers community
I'm waiting till they remake this game for the ninth time before I buy it, you know like I did with The Godfather. /sarcasm
