GameCube status update
Nintendo unveils the official release dates for Star Fox and Eternal Darkness, new details on the Wavebird, and more.
Nintendo has released some information on products scheduled for release within the next few months. The company confirmed that Star Fox Adventures will be available on June 10 and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem should be ready by June 24. Star Fox Adventures is an RPG in development at Rare that places players in control of Fox McCloud, who has landed on Dinosaur Planet to investigate the recent invasion of the planet by an evil general. Eternal Darkness is a horror-inspired adventure game where players assume the role of three different characters in three time periods. Nintendo also announced that the Wavebird--the wireless controller designed for the GameCube--would be in stores on June 24.
Nintendo also announced that it expects 60 titles to be available for the GameCube by June, including games like Spider-Man: The Movie, Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, Smashing Drive, Spy Hunter, Wrestlemania X8, and others.
