Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has announced a free PlayStation Mobile game promotion for owners of the PlayStation Vita and other PlayStation Certified devices. The promotion began on January 17 and will run for six weeks, with a different PlayStation Mobile game to be available each week.

The first game available is 2D brawler Samurai Beatdown. Vita owners can download the game from the PlayStation Mobile area of the PlayStation Store, while owners of a PlayStation Certified device must download and install the PlayStation Mobile Android application.

Currently, PlayStation Certified devices include Sony smartphones, Sony Tablets, and specific HTC Android mobile devices. A full list of the supported PlayStation Certified devices can be found on the PlayStation website. The promotion concludes on February 20. The selected game will change weekly, with updates to be posted on the PlayStation Blog.
