Free expanded version of Sacred announced
Sacred Plus to make extensive additions to the PC action role-playing game as a download and retail release in October.
Germany-based Ascaron will be releasing a free, extensive update pack for its PC role-playing game Sacred. The update will be offered this October as a free download for owners of the game. The game will also be repackaged with the update and released to stores as Sacred Plus.
The download will add 15 new weapons, two quest blocks, five enemies, and two new regions to the Diablo-like action RPG. In addition, Ascaron noted that it will be the first official "Plus" extension, hinting that more updates are to come.
Sacred was released in March by Encore Software. GameSpot's review has further information on the game.
