100 not 11 silly me stupid mistake

JUST SPRUNG TO MIND AFTER READ SOME OF THESE COMMENTS ABOUT TRACKS if there going to be puting 11 track into the game and there was only 14 in forza 2 just think about it there are well over a 100 real race track used by f1, moto gp and 24 hour racing and touring car that sort of stuff so lets be honest they have no exscuse to have fake tracks in the game or and fake customized cars to fill space as there are to many bloody car in the world im being grumpy and harsh on forza motorsport but it true id like to see nearly all the possiable car tracks from acroos Europe and america and asia on this game if posiable many Eurpoe as there track are the best if you think about it and im right they are lol

For me I f they have all the latest cat on the road to race round the best tracks and road in the world ill be happy and it needs ot be simulation not arcade 1 thing though if any of you have heard of such tracks as Brands Hatch and Donington Park both the best british track i can ever think of they would be great replacements for Silverstone as that track is flat and boring and if the makers if forza even read this Cadwell Park aswell maybe although the cars would scrap the dec and spin out over the hill it would be amzing if these track where in the game instead of the falt and boring track ok hope you like my track ideas guys :)

I think they should've added a story to the game. Its boring when you're ur just racing for credits and levels. Its gets boring after a while

gran turismo 2 was two disc's so whats the problem....forza and gran turismo are almost equal games, honestly if you took the best features from forza (car/decals/drivetrain customization PIMP MY RACINGCAR , realistic damage, car classes, great online with tons of downloadable cars and tracks)...Now gran turismo has (great racing tracks, soundtrack, photo-realistic graphics, more cars) and from what it sounds like 400 cars + downloadable content is freaking sweet, i just hope they have more natural gt tracks instead of industrial tracks

can't wait for this one... I don't think the game will be the kind of 2-disc everyone thinks it will be... Rather than "insert disc 2 to continue" it will be more like downloading all the cars and tracks from disc 2 to your HDD first and then inserting Disc 1 to play the game as usual. No one wants a 4GB+ downloadable content update so they might as well put all the extra stuff on a 2nd disc. Kind of like when you buy a 2-disc DVD or BLU-RAY movie and the digital copy that counts as disc 2... If there is a 2nd disc to pop in half-way through the game then who cares... it's not like you can beat Forza in a single sitting anyways. When Transformers the movie came out for HD-DVD everyone who had blu-ray brought up the point that blu-ray had/has more space to fit the special features so there was no need for more than 1 disc. The fact of the matter is, Transformers is still on 2 discs on blu-ray and no one cares anymore. 2-discs is not as issue really...

We all need to realise that forza two had "40" tracks when it got released....... because of the different variations of tracks, backwards tracks etc....... race modes especially for 'oval" now I know that you need specific tunes etc for whatever your doing but trying to pass off oval racing as a particular race type rather than just calling it racing, man, sounds like they don't have much to market this with, which is a shame because I genuinly enjoy the playing forza games... I just really enjoy how when Turn ten released extra DLC for forza 2, you'd pay for it then get maybe one actual unique model of car and 6 or so slight variations on cars that were already in game, which were already rubbish cars in game anyway...... Please Turn ten don't screw up this title!!!!!!!.....

100 tracks and 400 cars. near endless customization is good. But a racing game with more than one disc is bad.

@InsideTheWall89 No problem with your hiatus from Forza. Just originally gathered from how you said it that Forza had no real tracks (or very few real tracks compared to fictitious). My bad. As I said, everyone would like more tracks (of course no drifting, wouldn't want another fake racer). They should include tracks like Willow Springs (and its smaller courses) and Button Willow (don't have very many tracks in SoCal).

@Phatmista I just played the game for the first time in a year yesterday, so forgive me if I forgot a few tracks from the game such as Silverstone and that one in Italy. But 14 tracks is not a whole lot and I'd prefer them to be all real tracks. The game gets very repetitive doing multiple variations of the same few tracks ad nauseum. And what's wrong with me wanting more tracks and more variety in the types of racing (no drifting, ever) and cars? What's so hard to believe about that, after about 2 years of playing this game, I got it 3 years ago, but my year hiatus has to be accounted for, and 14 seperate venues isn't enough. The scenery gets old after a while. I hope forza 3 has the 100 tracks like this article says, that'll be the biggest thing for me. After a while, Forza loses it's initial excitement, 100 or more tracks should keep that at bay for a little longer.

@InsideTheWall89 lol you crack me up. Basically you want MORE tracks in more VARIETY? ;-P Yes there are 4 fictional tracks. Only 4 out of 14. Of course everyone would love to see more...something my gf brought up (as both of us race autocross), why not give us a track editor!? Make our own tracks >.

@Phatmista I know that Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca is a real track, did I even mention it in my post? I know that Sebring and Road America are also real tracks, as is the Suzuka circuit in Japan. I know my tracks, bud. But, I believe, that those are the only real tracks in the game, I can't remember I've not played it in a very long time. In fact, Laguna Seca is one of my favorite American tracks, Infineon Raceway is my favorite and I hope it's in the next Forza. Oh wait, I forgot the Nurburgring and the Nurburgring F1 track and Tsukuba, that' in there right? OK, so, I'd like the Daytona Infield and the oval, I'd like the road course up in Richmond, Richmond International I think. I'd like Watkins Glen to be in there, I'd like to be able to do the Pikes Peak Int'l Hillclimb. I'd really like to see all the F1 circuits in the game as well as the roadcourse up in Montreal, Brands Hatch would be fun, as would Autopolis in Japan. Can't believe someone would question me on racetracks...

point to point sounds cool. I haven't played a racing game with that forever . only one I can think of is NFS 1. There must have bee more. did GT one or two have p2p? hopefully there will be open wheel grand prix style races. i saw on formula 1 website that codemasters is making f1 2010 for 360 using grid engine. I'm definitly getting forza 3 and hopefully f1 2010 will be good too. I agree with everyone below about taking as long as they need to get it right. I'd wait twice as long for only 10 percent better

One thing I'd like to seewould be some non-typical vehicles to race, I'd like to see more kinds of cars represented. I'd like an old Beetle. Also, there better be more tracks, no more fake tracks, only real world stuff. Plus, a big oval for highspeed tests is a must, something like APG or the big one in the UK. Also, being able to do Bonneville runs would be nice. As for the atypical vehicles, how about the semi-truck racing, that'd be fun. Having a NASCAR would be cool. I also think the game needs a pickup truck and some SUVS such as the Ford Lightning, Ram SRT-10, Silverado SS, and the Porsche Cayenne, among others. I especially think the pickups would be a good challenge for a driver with no assists on; high COG, high weight, poor weight distribution, high power, it'd be fun. And we need some diesel cars (or trucks) because there's a crapload of power available from diesel, plus it's cool. That's all at any rate.

i agree with jokicg i like the idea of having to replace parts after awhile....kinda like gran turismo 4 where you had to get oil changes every once and awhile. If they could expand on that idea it would be an even more amazing game.

The comment about a season race is pretty cool. Hopefully they can keep all the original features that make it so great and just add new ones. EA has a bad rep for doing that. I host a GameNight once a month and right now we are doing Forza2. We race once a week with our best car from each class and add up points. So when the next GameNight comes around we meet up at my house and race a Championship race. Then declare the winner like in NASCAR. Pretty awesome! Great series by the way.

I agree with the in car view. They def need that. Also like someone already said before I want to hear the turbo spool up and the blow of valve more that in forza 2. Make all the engine noses louder like superchargers, cams, exhaust. Another cool thing would be car failures like Tires blow out, engine leaks, because after you customize the car you want and build up the engine up then its pretty much over with that car. Once you reach the max horse power you will never touch the engine options again. One more thing that needs improvement is the way the cars grip to the road. For instance in forza 2 the buick regal can have 800+hp and have masive tires in the back but yet it can still spin them masive tires thru 4th gear at 100mph. I think when you heat up the tires u shoud be able to launch like a all wheel drive car if not pull a wheelie which ties in to the failure part do too many launches means replace more parts. It would keep the game interesting

SpunkyB0B has it right, one disc will be an "install only" disc containing who knows what, tracks and the customization tools maybe. The one you play off of will have the music/sound and cars. Look at the 3rd paragraph talking about the avatars. What else came with the avatar system? Install's to the HD. So a 2-disc Forza set is mentioned in the same story as (indirectly) new install to HD function. Hopefully other 360 games take this route.

I really want to see miller motorsports park in this game. And I want to see an in-car driving view, like race pro's. That game felt so clean when you could turn the heads up display off and just read the car's actual dials...

online segment on one disc and the single player segment on the other Wont work... u still need the tracks and cars on the 1 disk then... most likely you install 1 disk and play off the other or install both

Its gonna be on 2 discs because there is going to be 100 tracks, thats alot guys, its not because of the amount of cars. Hopefully they will put the online segment on one disc and the single player segment on the other.

Get a season mode in the game. Not career mode... you can keep that in just fine, but I want a season mode. Racing is so much more than just car collecting and trying them all out. I've been playing a lot of Forza 2 again and that is the only thing lacking... the ability to make Forza a sport again instead of a bunch of limited mini-races you can restart however often you need to...

Oh man I can't wait.. I loved Forza2, it's so much fun buying new cars and buying new parts and trying them out.

I can't wait until there are some trailers of this game. And I agree with Munfug. They need to take their time and make this game as good, if not better than the last one.

I think they need to introduce Rally/offroad racing events. Think about setting up custom settings for jumps, rain, snow.... we need to have inclement weather on this game!

this game needs to hurry and come out, arcade racers like need for speed and midnight club are failing, i cant live on forza 2 for much longer, also i agree with pysher cause that one of the main reason some of my friends didnt buy forza 2 cause they know nothing about tuning

I think there should be an in game help system for those who want to make sweet cars but don't understand how to ie. suspension, maybe have the game tell you whether your suspension setup is more for drag, drift, oval, etc.

I am getting this game the day it comes out. It is going to be awesome. I loved the second one so I hope they don't disapoint me with the 3rd one.

First, forza definatly needs an in car view that is a recreation of the actual inside of the car. and second, if they are putting the game on two disks the second disk is probably not compleatly filled, therefore they should make an option to install the second disk and only need the first to play.

this is for the people complaining on how its on two discs and only more then 400 cars...its on 2 discs because of the 100+ tracks, not just the cars....i just hope they add an in car view, which i know is a lot to ask for with 400+ cars but w/e, i also want the turbo to be louder....the drift sounds cool too

The Game sounds great!!! and I cant wait for it to come out, but im not to sure with the whole 2 disc thing??? I agree with jade, how forza 2 had over 300 cars on one disc. But all in all I cant wait for it to come out, plus the 100 tracks, and new features i.e. drag, drift, point to point, is really sweet, so hopefully ppl who just want to stick with one race type can and race ppl who like the same things they do. I JUST REALLY HOPE THE BRING BACK THE MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!!! I LOVED DRIFTING DOWN IT.

400 cars? 100 tracks? what about adding more cars and more tournaments and endurance (not the 24 hour crap) besides, the 2nd one was great GT 4 was actually decent (3 was the best) oh, and add some more manufacturers from Japan, US, Germany, UK, France, Spain, Sweden, and other countries that make cars
