First look: Toxic Grind
A story-driven BMX-based game is coming to the Xbox and GameCube.
THQ has unveiled Toxic Grind, a new BMX game that's currently in development for the Xbox and the GameCube. As BMX rider Jayson Hayes, players are forced to compete in a game show of the future where the contestants are injected with poison and forced to complete a series of objectives spread out over 14 different worlds, including New York City, Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and the Roman Colosseum. Each area will have plenty of ramps, moving platforms, and hidden areas that can only be accessed by performing specific types of stunts. The storyline, which plays an important role in the game, will unfold through a series of comic-book-style cutscenes.
Toxic Grind is currently scheduled for release in the fall.
