Ubi Soft releases the first information on its upcoming puzzle game for the GameCube. First screens inside.

Ubi Soft has today released the first information on Super Bust-A-Move All Stars for the GameCube, which is currently scheduled for a budget-priced release in Europe on September 5. The game will follow the standard Bust-A-Move formula with players firing colored bubbles at each other in an attempt to clear levels, but it will also boast one or two features over and above the Super Bust-A-Move 2 PS2 game on which it is based.

The game's eight initially playable characters will be joined by two secret characters, and a new time attack gameplay mode will allow up to four players to do battle. Although today's press release doesn't go into detail, the game's training mode will purportedly teach players how to master all of the game's "incredible new features," while secrets up for grabs will include the mysterious-sounding "another world stage." No North American release date for Super Bust-A-Move All Stars has been announced at this time, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
