Vivendi Universal announces that it will release this 2D action adventure game developed by Vicarious Visions in March. First screens inside.

Vivendi Universal Games has today announced that it will release Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend for the Game Boy Advance in Europe this March. The game is currently in development at Vicarious Visions, the developer best known for its GBA versions of Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

In Return of the Legend, players will assume the titular role of Bruce Lee, who in turn plays the role of a skilled martial-arts student named Hai Feng who is attempting to find the assassin responsible for the death of his master. As players progress through the game, the range of martial-arts moves at their disposal will increase, and they'll also get to fight using weapons, including knockout darts, nunchaku, and a bo.

"Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend continues the Universal Interactive tradition of strong character-based franchises and quality handheld game experiences," said Nicholas Longano, general manager of Universal Interactive. "Universal Interactive's goal is to create an authentic and compelling Bruce Lee game that extends the Bruce Lee legacy."

Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend is currently scheduled for release this March in Europe. We'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
