I expected a lot more from this game :/ as example, everything went realy fast, you get at Achilles, it jumps a few years and you are assassin... you never learn how to fight, climb or what ever.. in AC2 you had to learn everything after you could fight... kinda dissapointed :S
Ubisoft commences "Leave No Witnesses" event in which players must kill as many enemies as possible; top scorers get $30 DLC season pass.
The first single-player "event" for Assassin's Creed III has begun, Ubisoft announced on its website. The "Leave No Witnesses" competition tasks players will murdering as many enemies as possible in the single-player campaign.
Those who have already completed the Assassin's Creed III campaign can replay the game and side quests to take part in the competition.
Top-scoring players on each platform (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC) will be awarded an Assassin's Creed III Season Pass. Additionally, Ubisoft said it will give away a Season Pass to a random competitor for each platform.
The "Leave No Witnesses" event was not announced for the Wii U version of the game.
The Assassin's Creed III Season Pass includes access to all downloadable content for the game and is available through separate purchase for $30. The game launched for Xbox 360 and PS3 in October and arrived for PC earlier this week. For more, check out GameSpot's review of Assassin's Creed III.
Not a very smart event if the measure was the total number of kills in the total time of the event, as some people here said, some people will completely dedicate their life for it. Beside, why having a combat based event in, mainly, a stealth based game. it would just mean ignoring stealth and go taking anyone I see in my way.
Not even worth it, the game was such a pain in the ass in certain parts that I'd rather not play the entire single player again.
i sure as shit can buy the season pass
but i only want to know what i'm paying for b4 i spent my $$$
without a set time limit for gathering kills this will just be won by people with no lives at all. Open ended events like this just reward excessive players.
Pointless event in my opinion. (A set timer and location would have made it better.)
And people who "have no lives" usually have a job, which means they are not in need of a $30 reward.
Besides, it's not supposed to be fair, it's supposed to get people to play the game as much as possible so they can flaunt various retarded stats saying "we made a better game because more people are playing it".
I agree the people who play this non stop are definitely going to win.
No thanks, I just put 46 hours into that game and am done until an expansion comes out. What an amazingly huge and awesome game though!
@BladeStrike1234 Join anyway. There is going to be a random giveaway for a season pass. So you can still win without 'winning.'
Is it just me or does it seem like the type of people who would get top score would already have the season pass? Or is it not released yet? Anyway, neat idea.
Combat in ACIII is easy unless a bunch of guys form a firing line, then you have a 50/50 chance the game will let you do that human shield move you told connor to do.
@The-Neon-Seal there is no 50/50 u can always human shield if u time it right
@The-Neon-Seal No, the Combat has always been smooth for me even when there is a 'firing-line' formed, I just go to the nearest dude, press 'X' and bam, my own human shield. There is no 50/50 chance, maybe if a guard is attacking you while you try to break his defense then that won't work, look for the closest dude thats not attacking you and thats it.
@XABDOS @The-Neon-Seal I wouldn't quite call it smooth after playing Arkham City but it is a decent system. It still feels like it can't decide if I should be buttom mashing or deliberate. Finicky is what I'd call it. The window for a lot of things doesn't seem consistent to me but you are right that you can do much better than 50/50.
@The-Neon-Seal Find all the trinkets and you get a ring that will help big time with those firing lines.
To win a competition like this agaisnt the mega nerds you need a massive scores, meaning putting in tons of hours. $30 would be a pretty horrible hourly rate :).

@Suikogaiden Because they haven't made 95% of the DLC yet and they need to get paid for their work like every other industry in the world.
@Suikogaiden Welcome to greedy ass america.
When I first started playing AC3 it told me I was in the top 1% in the world for money made from the trade system. Although that was weeks ago.

@GamerOuTLaWz Pretty sure the PC version is out.
@GunBladeHero right,must've came out yesterday
Awesome news! Good to see publishers do things like this.
Can't say I would be too interested (too many games last 2-3 weeks and upcoming week or two) but I will definitely spread the news.
