Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia announced
Square Enix plans to release its new Final Fantasy XI expansion pack in both North America and Japan this fall. First screens inside.
Square Enix has today announced that it will release Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia in both North America and Japan this fall. The expansion pack, which will be available exclusively on CD rather than as a download, will expand the online world of Vana'diel by adding new areas to explore. Furthermore, it will serve to unravel mysteries, unlock secrets, and make real some of the fabled legends that, until now, have been spoken of but never seen.
Final Fantasy XI is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game in which both PC and PS2 players are able to explore the persistent world of Vana'diel together. We'll bring you more information on the Chains of Promathia expansion pack as soon as it becomes available.
