Final Fantasy VII Joins Greatest Hits
Sony announces that Final Fantasy VII has been entered into the PlayStation's Greatest Hits line.
Sony Computer Entertainment America announced on Tuesday that Final Fantasy VII has been added to the PlayStation Greatest Hits series. Players can now purchase the popular RPG for only US$25.
With the addition of Final Fantasy VII, there are now 58 titles in the Greatest Hits line carrying a suggested retail price of $20 - 25.
"Acknowledging Square's longtime heritage for superior gaming content, Final Fantasy VII proved to be a bona fide hit long before its inclusion in the 'Greatest Hits' series, but now we are able to take the critically acclaimed adventure to a new level,'' said Andrew House, vice president, marketing, Sony Computer Entertainment America.
The next chapter in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy VIII, will be released in the US on September 7.
