FIFA 14 coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on September 27. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will arrive later in 2013.
FIFA 14 will be released in Europe on September 27, EA has confirmed.
Additionally, EA is offering numerous preorder incentives in the UK that dish out FIFA Ultimate Team freebies. Customers who opt to buy the Ultimate Edition from Amazon will get 24 gold packs for Ultimate Team, given out at a rate of one a week for 24 weeks.
Each gold pack is a random assortment of 12 items, EA says, offering up players, stadiums, staff, balls, and kits. The players included in the gold packs are mostly rated above 75 in the game, and each pack includes a rare item. The Ultimate Edition also provides an All-Star Team featuring, among others, Lionel Messi.
Preordering at Game gets players the Limited Edition of FIFA 12, which features 24 premium gold packs. These are like the packs included in the Ultimate Edition, only they serve up two rare items every week. This version of FIFA 14 also comes in a steelbook case.
On top of that is the FIFA 14 Special Edition, exclusive to Game, which provides everything in the Limited Edition alongside an Adidas EA Sports glider football.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of FIFA 14 are also in development, but are not yet dated for release by EA.
The publisher announced its next-generation Ignite engine alongside Microsoft's official unveiling of the Xbox One earlier in the week.

What? EA open your eyes already! Ubisoft is porting games from PC to next gen consoles,and you will give PC gamers just ps3/360 port? I mean PC can have 128Gb of ram if you NEEED POWER.
So i guess that's one of the way to "force" gamers to buy next gen consoles. Dumb down ports to other versions?...oh wait...EA...right...shhh...never mind.

1 Like Does anyone know if they'll have Australian / Oceanic servers this time? I stopped playing Fifa when I got tired of playing anything above a 1v1 match with 200ms+ ping while others had 30ms ping. It makes a massive difference in passing, tackling, shooting, etc. I've looked everywhere but can't find anything about local servers for the good 2v2/3v3 to 10v10 matches.
Anyone?
6 Like PC gamers as always we'll receive shit. Like when the first versions of fifa came out on ps3 and xbox 360 and pc got stuck with same old engine for like 3 years.... EA already came out with the lame ass excuse that there isn't any high end pc that can compete with the new consoles and for that reason they are not including the ignite engine on the pc version... Personally I think is bullshit because pc gaming has always been far ahead of consoles, but because it's more profitable to sell consoles we always get the worst treatment...I had nothing against EA but after knowing about this I share the feeling of thousands of gamers abaout this shitty company
eeehh What's wrong with playing a fifa on pc? who says it's s console made for game... like you cant have a 360 controller for pc and a led tv as monitor... those thing makes playing fifa on pc equal or even way better than to play it on a console. So no offense but saying you cant have the most of the game if you dont have a console is way wrong. Just think about it, with a pc you can play FPS the best way and you can even play this kind of games just like in a console.
@luisva9 I understand your frustration but for FIFA, it's definately better to play on a big TV and sit in a couch.... it's not a matter of raw computing power. If you really want to enjoy the most of the game I think you should get a console anyway.

It's connected by bluetooth BTW. I also do connect my PC to a BRAVIA TV via HDMI.
@liuyang61 @hrst1 @luisva9 hey some of us are old school, we prefer playing fifa witha a keyboard, other than that, xbox controller for windows is a viable option for those who prefer it, hook the pc up to a giant tv and you got your console experience right there,.....best of all worlds .....

@Jwash16 no they are not releasing the new engine on pc, xbox360 or ps3...its only for xbox one and ps4, ea gives a lame excuse that these two new consoles have technology a generation ahead of high end pc and hence we the pc gamers have to satisfy ourselves with the old engine....its time to throw EA out of our gaming life...have lot of hopes on pes now, maybe they can do something better

If PES 14 really brings it this year with its new engine, then i will avoid FIFA 14 PS3. which seems its going to be bits of upgrade, rather than anything revolutionary, which is understandable to extent.
But the only thing that could make me buy fifa, is the exlcusive BUNDESLIGA. and dortmund.

@DARKKNIGHTPRABZ well right now fifa has the better gameplay IMO, i tried playing pes and i was like wtf is this. so konami really needs to step it up with gameplay and licensing because i hate not having the actual players or teams. i loved winning eleven back in the day but that was my first soccer game ever so i had nothing to compare to.i just hope EA gets it right and doesnt mess it up, and konami step it up with better gameplay and some more licenses.

Well that's that then, everytime I thought about buying Fifa13, I played the demo... I've realised I don't need to buy them anymore, all you need is 2 teams and someone to play against, all the other stuff is just fluff around the edges... With the acception of online play, but last time I tried that was fifa10 and it was basically score 1 goal and watch someone quit.
@JimmeyBurrows the demo only lets you play for 3 minutes. if thats all you need to be satisfied then you are not a soccer fan.
