i like chocobo.. not thaat much, but i like it wonder if it would be as good as final fantasy tactics for ds

If nothing else, I think this'll be worth checking out for an easy play.

I like chocobos so I will buy the game for that reason alone. Matrixman2k is also correct that they need a sequel to Chrono Cross and I would love one to Vagrant Story as well. Wark Wark Kweh Wark Kweh (buy this game in chocobo)

To be honest, i'm not a fan of FF spin-offs. X-2 was decent, but not up to the series quality. Didn't bother with the movies or any other spin-offs (apart from Tactics, which was great). I just hope FFVII: Crisis Core is a good game. It would be nice to see a series of original FF games for the PSP.

If it's anything close the the Dragon Quest Spinoff it will be AWESOME! :D

First of i like my ff but this is getting ridiculous. Why cant they just spend some resources and make a sequel to chrono cross. As for ff just give the public what they demand and that is - for those of us not in touch - a remake of ff 7 + 8 + 9 (all ps1 titles) for the ps3....simple and a source of new revenue. Take a look at wii, it's very popular with all the retro...wait a minute. Why can't they release all the ps1 titles for the wii?! But then the discs man, 3 and 4 cd games. Where would they fit all that info. unless they were to release it on a full size dvd disc.........downloading them via wii channel is probably out of the question.

You may say that, but I find it the other way around. KH is just repeated button-mashing, whereas FFT requires thought and effort put into planning your moves.

I've been watching the videos, and it ain't grabbing me by the kuponuts. But I also had trouble sticking with FFTactics Advance. Cutscenes are fine, but I really need gameplay that moves along at a pace a notch above torpor. Kingdom Hearts isn't dull during any moment that you're supposed to be holding the controller.

Oh, yippee...another Final Fantasy franchise milk jug. What else is new? Seriously, now. The game looks somewhat interesting, but based on my sheer disgust that Square (not Enix) is yet again...pumping out another game based on their done to DEATH gravy train... I won't be getting it.

I just got a DS on Friday, and I highly recommend that everyone buy one. It may quite possibly be the best handheld ever made.

You have wireless card battles in the game. Have to unlock I think from what the English previews of it said. It's sold extremly well in Japan so far.

Heh, I actually got this game while I was in Japan, about when it came out I think. It's actually a lot of fun, minigames are creative uses of the touch-screen, and while the card-battle is a lot of luck, it's still very well made, though not implemented all that well (four or five battles total in the story mode). I'm glad they're bringing it to the US, and I think I'm glad I already have it in Japanese, becuase some of the new English text is beyond cheesy. And also, for the sake of everyone who plays it: they damn well better fix the freaking high scores for the side-minigames, because most of them are beyond impossible in the version I have.

Good idea regarding the name change. I hate the DS microphone though. From what I can remember, Nintendogs was the only game that made any good use of it.
