Due to publisher-requested embargo, we won't be posting any new screens or video of F.E.A.R. 2's full single player campaign until Tuesday, along with the review. However, we are able to give you a taste of multiplayer, and I wanted to give you a few screens and video of that experience. The screens are of the PC version, while the video is of the Xbox 360 version.
Boom, and lots of blood. The modes are familiar--deathmatch, a capture the flag variant called blitz, variants on conquest/territories, and a few others. Sadly, there are no slo-motion variants as there were in the original F.E.A.R.
One of those conquest variants is Armored Front, in which each team gains access to a huge mech. I am not piloting it here, but you can surely see it in action!
I like the shotgun. It makes nice splatters of gooey entrails.
Additionally, I am hoping to show off some screens and video of Killzone 2 on Monday, and show off some of my favorite weapons in that game. In the meanwhile, I offer a few videos of this beautiful title in action!
I am a big fan of mech sequences, on-rails bits, and turret sections that break up the gameplay. Here is one such portion.

I'm getting both, I already have FEAR 2 and its great, glad I didn't miss out. On the other hand, KZ2 will be great and I'm glad I'm not going to miss out on that either.
i'm gonna buy both games but i wan't play FEAR 2 because of Killzone 2 it's the best FPS game ever and for other systems' fan "better luck next time if there is a next time" see ya later guys in Killzone 2 online
When Killzone 2 comes... it'll be a system seller... With Killzone 2, God of War III, and Uncharted 2 around the corner... Who want to miss that?

slow mo was one of the stuff i enjoyed the most in the original fear.... they should have atleast kept an option for turning it on/off in MP modes
killzone 2 is a good to go on ps3 as for fear 2 i'll go at it on pc...thnx for all the vids...they helped me pre-order killzone 2 even after just buying lbp,burnout,tekken 5,and sf2hdrmx all in 2 days!lol
Brenna, we haven't received PS3 code for F.E.A.R. 2 for some reason, so I couldn't get any footage or shots for that version, sadly.
No PS3 version screenshots for Fear 2? :cry: Does it look horrible or something? I wouldn't be shocked. I mean, look how the PS3 version of FO3 looks compared to the 360 and PC versions :x Also, about Killzone 2, I'm ready to see those new screens and vid on Monday!!!! :D BTW I played the KZ2 demo about 20 times last night, and it was amazing!!! :D Great gameplay, great graphics, very smart AI (smarter than I expected). The weapons are great and the cover system is much better than I expected it to be. :) I just don't see how there's any way Gamespot gives this game below a 9 after playing that demo....
I too will be getting both these games. Roll on. I have just finished f.e.a.r. 1, thought I would need to try it first, its great, very absorbing, havn't managed to finish killzone 1 yet, will carry on with this until the end.! Dont you just love this web site?
Man I cannot wait for KZ2, looks boss. And I played the demo to F.E.A.R. 2 and that game was pretty intense as well.
