Far Cry IP demo arrives on XBL

better late than never ;)

Wow, that sure is late but for those who have yet to play it are in for surprise on Xbox Live.

IDK, maybe I'll check it out. Gotta delete some things first tho.

I had this game for the Xbox, but before I finished it, my Xbox crapped out. After buying a 360, I bought this game hoping to finally finish it. I was a little disappointed in the graphical upgrade, and I was VERY unhappy with how much better the AI is. The AI upgrade is great on one count, it makes the game a LOT harder than the Xbox version. But Ubisoft didn't counterbalance it by reworking the health system or anything like that. They just made the game harder. All in all, with the Evolution storyline as well, this game is definately worth $40. And while it could've looked better, certain levels (like the Cliffsides) still take my breath away. P.S. There can be problems finding a big group of people to play with online. I'm hoping the recent price drop helps alleviate this problem.

complete garbage. This game is good on the Xbox, but I was expecting the 360 version to look like the PC. It looks EXACTLY like the Xbox versino with slightly improved water. It wasn't even close to what the 2 year old Pc game looked like! And the lag in the multiplayer is horrible. The box version is much more stable. I delted this demo after 5 minutes of play. A waste.

Don't buy it or play it. how can u say that, the game isnt as good as the pc version but its still a solid fps. plus there are hundreds of people online im allways on there playing 16 a side. it just sounds like your rubbish at it and u are slating it for that fact.

It should have included single player as so many other Xbox360 demos........

I loved thisgame on the original xbox but I just felt like I was playing the same game all over again and just couldn't get into it...a graphical upgrade just doesn't warrant buying the same game all over again...

trj156 there is a patch coming to fix the controls and the lag online.

Tried it out and after 2 matches it got erased. Horrible, absolutely horrible multiplayer.

i bought this game, played for 3 days, then put it right up on ebay. horrible pile of crap. worst controls ever. looks like a good xbox 1 game.

This is good news for me. I love Far Cry online multiplayer. Now a bunch of people will try it out. Pick it up people it's a good enough game for $40 or less.

Don't worry, Sonicgod, the autoaim in Far Cry is quite generous.

Now every body can try not hitting anything with out the keyboard and mouse!

Get Far Cry on PC, it's alot more better and smarter game.

Theyre putting out the demo now becuase the game is crap and no one will buy it...except me who got duped into buying that junk.

This game is awesome. The Predator mode in multiplayer is an adrenaline shot to the neck. We've been playing it for over a year (on xbox and xbox 360).

yea i think these developers need to start getting demos out before the games come out. im sure people would like to see what is instore before they go spending $60 for a game,YA THINK!

Good to see it's a multiplayer only game. Let's not show the player what single player is actually like. Personally I say "bad move"

I thought the level designer was one of th ebest released on a home console..vary versatile if u have a good imagination

Well it looks like I was one of the only people that enjoyed this game. Even though the pc Far Cry was better, this was still a great game.

yea , i loved the pc game and i grabbed the 360 version since it was 25 bucks for me new. It is not that bad, but not the same game at all.

It's too bad they didn't make this a really good game. The PC version of Far Cry was one fo the best FPS for PC in a LONG TIME!!! Still is!! This could have been really good, but as most people are saying, it is far from it.
