Farcy 3 needs Dinosaurs, Sasquatches, and prehistoric sea monsters. I was hoping Farcry 3 would include all this. Let us hope the DLC will.
Far Cry 3 'High Tides' DLC out next week

Free PS3-exclusive expansion for Ubisoft's action-shooter arriving January 15; adds two new co-op chapters.
The first expansion for Far Cry 3 will release exclusively on PlayStation 3 next Tuesday, January 15, Sony has announced. The free High Tides add-on includes two new co-op chapters called Jailbreak and Redemption, which take place where the original six left off.
Included in the High Tides expansion are new missions, "tougher fights," larger competitions, and "explosive moments unlike anything you've seen before."
It is unclear if the content will be made available at a later date for Xbox 360 and PC gamers. For more on Far Cry 3, check out GameSpot's review.

Meh I don't care for this simply because it's not single-player DLC such as an Island expansion or something.
These console exclusive DLC's are really pissing me off we all paid for the game everyone should get it.

5 Like A small DLC pack? Cool, let me go get $15 and- What? It's free? Seriously? In this day and age of $15 map packs, they're just giving out extra content for a game that was already massive to begin with? Well that's a nice change of pace...
This isnt the first time Ubisoft have done this, When R6:Vegas was released, they gave us 2x free map pack expansions (Red Pack & Black Pack) which were also free.
Its great to see that Ubi appreciate their audience and 'Give Back' in this manner.
2 Like It would be cool if Ubisoft updated the Map editor so that people could make and upload Co-op missions to the community. It would make this one of the highest grossing games ever. But I guess they think they can make more money this way...

1 Like I love the complaining about FREE DLC, and then read other articles that say DLC is out for 10-20 bucks....and those people complain....why such a high cost? It should be free!!! Now that it is free....still complaining...it should have been included....now I will agree that this DLC shindig has spiraled out of control....but you can only blame yourself and other gamers for allowing this to happen...you all know it deep down....the only way to really stop this DLC monster now is to boycott buying ANY DLC at all....I am not talking about just for a day but for good. Not just you and your friends but EVERYONE! If there is no activity in money being made, it would go away as anything else that does not make money. Problem is not EVERYONE will do the boycott so there will always be money to be made. AND the worst part about it I bet you anything that at least 90% of the complainers have bought DLC...I know I have...I have part to blame in this horrible DLC world we now "play" in. So in general we should not complain at all if the word FREE is in the price....

@Lotus-Edge Do you even know to make something costs money and time? And time is crucial in bussiness? The DLC is free but it is not time-free.

it's not like rockstar free co-op pack which was awesome
everything free by ubisoft means a cheap DLC, which is small amount of maps to play (maybe like just 2-3 maps)
but hell who fucking plays FC3 multiplayer? the main course of FC3 is single player
