Fallout 3 Footage: A Quick Note

sigh my latest inquiry puts Hong Kong's Fallout 3 (PC) release at no earlier than Nov. 11. Maybe even Nov. 14. i guess it's back to twiddling fingers...

i dont know, im still thinkin it wont have very good combat, the whole turn based thing, even when in first person killed it for me

Where's the review...?

i would like to see this game score a 9.5 or a 10, but i can't see it happening. After all, KevinV gave Mass Effect an 8.5 -- what the hell was that about? it deserved at least a 9.0. He just nitpicked every minor problem forgetting that the game was so huge that it's whole is greater than the sum... there are bound to be issues in suge a large game. Oblivion was awesome (9.5 worthy), but it definitely had issues. I think he'll do the same thing with regards to Fallout 3 and score it either 8.5 or 9.0. But it doesn't really matter... i know i'll get the game and an 8.5 isn't a bad score anyway.

so i'm guessing there will be another late review as usual. GS is becoming so slow and lame with these reviews. :(

The rating system doesn't go in intervals of 0.5. After reading IGN's review (and taking into consideration my personal opinion that they slighly overrate compared to GS), my prediction for the GS review is 9.4.

IGN has posted their official review already, awarding Fallout 3 with an astounding 9.6! However, I trust in Kevin to give it the 10/10 that it truly deserves =). Since the rating system goes in intervals of .5, its bound to be a 10. Game of the year Fallout 3!

I'm looking forward to the review of Fallout...I lost most of my anticipation for the game and I'm more leaning towards Fable 2 now...cause the thing that appeals me the most in the Fallout franchise is Consequences...and I already know Fallout is light on that, Fable on the other hand is all about that
