Fable III PC launch confirmed

I wish gamestop would do pre-order thing for the PC as well.

My Friend has an Xbox so I have already played this but still it would great to have this on my pc. It stinks its getting delayed but ohh well its not as great as fable 1 anyway.

Hopefully the extra stuff will be for free considering how expensive building a PC is in the first place. It would be nice but I can only hope that they won't get greedy about it.

Fable 3's rumoured release for PC is sometime in february next year 2011, what a bummer.

Don't bother buying it. Loinhead have cut large chunks out of the game and are trying to sell it as Day One DLC. What a joke.

what is the pc release date. gamespot said it was delayed and when i checked the release date it was the same. is it this year or not fable 1 was the best game i ever played

Awesome! Ok GS... make a PC version section of Fable III so I can remove the 360 version and replace it with the PC version on my tracked list :D

Im excited. I am one of those people who put in like 200 hours into fable 2 and really enjoyed the experience throughout. So fable 3 on a platform that surpasses all consoles on all levels (lol) is something i am hyped for :)

Well, when I saw this, the first thing I thought was: "AWESOME!" Then I felt extreme disappointment set on since I realised that Fable II was not coming out for the PC... And then I thought of the Fable II Episodic :) Wouldn't it be awesome if the team at Lionhead released the Episodic for Windows Live. That way us humble PC gamers would have the opportunity to purchase the game the same way as Xbox Live users would. So, dear Mr.Molyneux, how should I put this: "Please, please, PLEASE!"

Ha, when I first saw this I was hoping the Collector's edition would come with a hand written apology for not releasing Fable II for the PC, then I read this; "The limited edition ... will be available exclusively for the Xbox 360." -.-

I played and liked the first one but it wasn't that interesting. I felt like the interface wasn't good enough, and the game's logic was off. hopefully Fable III will be better.

I would just like to see this version be not as buggy as Fable 2. I quit playing cause the frame rate got so bad. Plus bad pop-up/in. Characters would just appear right in front of me. Items and characters would never show up in the game, even after multiple reloads. Bad A.I. path finding at times, and unfinished animations. Button presses don't always register. Don't get me wrong I love the series. I just hard to play for long times with so many glitches. Even if you get an update a new glitch would show up. I would just like to sit down and play the game so I beat it already.

@ Darnasian Dude take my friendly advice and calm down, people who are loyal with 360 will play Fable III on 360 regardless of exclusivity, like for example I am a PC player so there is no way I am going to get a 360 or PS3 for Crysis 2, even some people claim that we have to upgrade our PCs for Crysis 2 to run properly I don't care, I'll upgrade my PC if I have to --- I'll buy Crysis 2 on PC only. The case is similar with Fable III, people who like it on 360 will get it on 360 no matter what. Personally I don't like exclusivity war because it is source of all the problems between gamers, but if this makes you feel good then I tell you one thing that 360 is not the only platform loosing exclusives, some of the great PC titles are also going to 360 like Crysis 2 and Arcania: The Gothic Tale and The Witcher 1 (one of the finest RPG I have seen) & 2 might also come to 360 in future and I say its a good thing because it increases game's fanbase, sales, popularity etc. I hope you understand my point.

Yuhuuuu! Hoooray! I heard they want to use project natal support for fable 3(just heard in an interview with peter molyneux :D). Now we must pray that the pc version will be just a re-compilation and then the project natal would become avalabile for pc too(impossible but great :D). And.. the limited edition looks great.

It would be nice to see a complete boxset for both the PC and 360 IMO. One that includes all 3 games, with Fable 1 being cleaned up and able to run on widescreen unlike the 360 downloadable version that was available. Personally Fable 1 was my favourite, 2 was good but a bit disappointing and 3 I will no doubt buy but I am hoping it will blow me away.

@Darnasian You say go read a book but maybe you should learn some grammar and punctuation. Nobody on this site cares what systems you own, that is unless you want get involved in a fanboy *****fest. Having a PC version of a game is not going to ruin a franchise nor will piracy. PLUS putting words IN ALL CAPITALS like this makes you look like an idiot. The more you know...

@Darnasian You actually think a PC game will ruin the franchise because it will get pirated? HAhahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, get real. Hundreds of games get PC releases, none of them got 'ruined'. People who bought the game on console would not just pirate it all of a sudden, they likely don't have PCs that can play modern games at all, which is why they have an Xbox 360. They would have choice of paying $60 for a game or at least $700 for a PC that can play games. Even PC only games get good sales. The Witcher sold somewhere between 1.5million to 2million units, and I think that is just the retail version (the game can also be bought online).
