EverQuest Online Adventures goes gold
Sony Online Entertainment completes work on its massively multiplayer RPG for the PlayStation 2.
Sony Online Entertainment has announced that EverQuest Online Adventures has gone gold. Like its PC counterpart, EverQuest Online Adventures lets players create characters from a list of 10 races and 14 character classes. Depending on the race selected, players will start in one of several different towns located in the EverQuest Online Adventures world, where they can start to gain experience, purchase basic items, and even go on small quests.
"In just a few short weeks, PlayStation 2 owners will get to experience the magical world of EverQuest, which is one of the most amazing fantasy universes ever created," said John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment. "With nearly endless replayability in a living, changing gameworld, the likes of which have never been seen before on a console, people from all across North America will find the adventure and community they seek in EverQuest Online Adventures."
EverQuest Online Adventures is scheduled to hit store shelves on February 12.
