I wouldn't get too excited about "pen-and-paper" if I were you. Redemption and Bloodlines were called "Pen-and-paper" and unless im gravely mistaken they didn't seem it. Now we know World Of Darkness is a good story. So now we just need a decent foundation for gameplay and we are sorted. I just hope they don't try anything too new that could actually mess it up... Also I wonder if it will be an FPS or not.... Guess we will have to wait for next E3 to even get a title...
EVE Online heads down South
CCP Games opening new North American MMOG development studio near White Wolf partner in Georgia.
Last November, Eve Online developer CCP Games and real-world role-playing game creators White Wolf announced they had joined operations to bring their individual talents to each other's properties. Apparently to help facilitate that process, the Icelandic online game maker announced today that it will be setting up a North American shop in White Wolf's backyard--Stone Mountain, Georgia.
CCP Games plans to hire more than 100 massively multiplayer online game developers and designers in the next 12 months for the new studio, poignantly dubbed CCP North America. At the time of its merger, the game maker noted it would be developing a MMOG based on White Wolf's World of Darkness, a pen-and-paper and live-action RPG set in a fictional realm populated by vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural creatures, as well as ordinary humans going about their day-to-day lives.
CCP North America will officially open for business on October 12.
